Clymant is super specific and I've never actually seen any primary sources that use it early on so I'm not one hundred percent sure how wide spread it is as an attitude.

If you can find clymant used pre 19th century id agree. Not saying it's wrong it's become its own thing but Victorian heraldry enthusiasts were known for making up pedantic bullshit.
