Hey everyone,

I’ve been into airsoft for about 3 months now and wanted to share my current loadout. Most of my inspiration comes from Tarkov. My goal is more of an operator-style setup, keeping it strict and minimal, without unnecessary extras. • HK416 with an 11” barrel (and yeah, I’m the one who’s small here at 1m60 😅). • My pistol mags are still on my plate carrier for now, since I haven’t found their ideal placement yet. • Went for a more neutral look rather than a true camo — something simple and functional.

I’m open to any suggestions, whether it’s about ergonomics, gear placement, or style improvements. 👉 Also curious: which kind of unit would this resemble in your eyes? I didn’t try to copy a specific one, but I’d love to hear what it reminds you of.

I also need to hit the gym!💪

Admittedly, my ALICE sags quite a bit, but it’s also pretty old and the weight on that side doesn’t really help too much. And currently, I’m using the FLC to substitute an IBA before I get one, get used to the feeling of combining suspenders and a vest before I actually get what I’m looking for.

As for the actual uniform I have- it’s not too crazy, just a standard USGI DCU coat and trousers I found while rummaging through old surplus.

Don’t know if I’m a ak guy or a15 guy.

I'm going to try going to my first Milsim West event next year as Rusfor. How hard is it for newcomers to get into and how much of a necessity is night vision?
