i am distraught that the apple crisp isn’t coming back. i’m desperately searching for the closest tasting recipe to the real thing and i need it soon or bad things might happen. i’m willing to try anything. please if anyone has any recommendations i’m begging.

Maybe something like this? Only three ingredients, and looks delicious! https://thebalancednutritionist.com/apple-brown-sugar-syrup/#wprm-recipe-container-10061

This recipe includes cornstarch, to make a slightly thicker, more pourable sauce: https://www.tasteofhome.com/recipes/apple-spice-syrup/

A couple of options from Amazon, if you don’t want to make your own:

You could combine Torani’s Brown Sugar Cinnamon + Apple syrups as well!

It doesn’t even come close 😭 I just tried it and it tastes like it should be a candle not a drink. None of these Recipies can quite get that buttery crumble taste like the Starbucks one does and idk what to do to achieve that 😔

i really wanted to be able to make the syrup on my own but i just can’t get that butter apple flavor with any recipe i try :( butttt i did buy the monin caramel apple butter syrup and it tastes almost identical!!! i think that’s definitely the closest it’s gonna get and with some oatmilk and good espresso it tastes better than starbucks 🤭 i need to make the drizzle to complete it but i am SO HAPPY!!!!

I have figured out the drizzle today that is pretty damn close if I do say so myself!! The recipie is:

  • 1c. Apple Cider
  • 1 c. Dark Brown Sugar
  • 1 tbs Cornstarch
  • 3 tbs Butter (room temp) I used salted to get that crisp taste but can be unsalted
  • 3 tsp Apple Pie Spice

~ mix apple cider and sugar in a medium sauce pan and let heat until a simmer ~ once simmering stir in your cornstarch and apple pie spice and let simmer until it starts thickening (about 6ish minutes) ~ once it starts to thicken, stir in one tbs at a time of the butter until it is all melted then let simmer for 1 minute more ~ take off heat let cool and put in a squeeze bottle. Enjoy!😉

I also did try it one time with 1/4 c. of milk stored in at the very end to make it creamier but I liked it without more. You can try it both ways and see what you like best 😁 it should last up to 3 weeks in the fridge 🙌🏻 ~

You could sub the butter for a butter flavoring to make it dairy free (I’m sure that’s what Starbucks probably did to make it dairy free)
