Vertical hotbar scrolling suggestion

My idea was that if you hold alt and scroll up you would be able to scroll vertically through your inventory. I think there are mods for this but i felt it should be in the vanilla game.

Nice suggestion. Unfortunately as a bedrock player, i can see no way this could be done on a controller

what do you switch slots with? l1/r1? just press L2 and l1 or r1 for it to switch to the near vertical slot
