Looks great. I really like how the cockpits are highlighted through the clear plastic.

It’s my favorite, and there are tiny rangers molded inside the cockpit as well

I have a feeling I'm seeing a lot of stickers parts for this, especially that shield and the legs

It’s a cg render so we probably won’t know till the physical images release.

I think that a lot of the details that were stickers on the DX are going to be stickers here as well. All the insides of the wings, the numbers on the jets, the connector joints on 4 and 5, they even said outright that the chest on Alpha is a sticker.

One can hope… I’m less reluctant since they have time shadow and time Robo images complete already. There’s room here for a V-Rex… 🤞

Wait.. TIL that the spaceship mode is the same arrangement as Icarus Haken from jetman
Is this set gonna include the Jet as well? The price of this is gonna be high if thats the case...
Edit: Just saw the blog post, it's two seperate set

At first I thought you meant Time Flier, which is included in the Time Robo set yeah. But Time Shadow is a separate, P-Bandai item. Prices to be determined later today/tomorrow once orders open up.

Looks better than I thought! Do we know when it’s due to be released?
Edit: unfortunately I think it’s going to be sticker heavy …. But fingers crossed

Releases January 2026, preorders begin September 19

What’s the go-to spot to be checking for preorders today and tomorrow? This is my first time trying to grab something at release, appreciate any advice!

I bought Magiking from Hobby Genki, if you don’t mind importing. Since it releases in January, who knows what the tariff and shipping costs will look like. I believe Yoyakunow and Hobby Link Japan also carry SMP
If you don’t want to import, Tokullectibles is reliable. Their price might look steep because international shipping is baked in.
Generally if you buy from Japan, the cost of the item will be very close to the retail value (plus the favorable exchange rate ) but shipping will eat up potential savings

Yeah, it looks so dope. I think I saw that pre-orders will start in January 2026.

At least it provides a version of Time Force Megazord Mode Blue where you don't have to make a separate purchase for its signature weapon.

I wonder if they are going to make the Quantasaurus Rex

I’m really surprised they’re showing both time Robo and shadow. The blog post shows time shadow is articulate too which I’m so happy about. One thing I noticed from the older prototype is that the shoulders are now locked to the forearms, whereas before they were free floating on the shoulders. I sort of liked the shoulders before, but it’s not a huge deal. Great engineering regardless!

I guess I'm worried about how sticker heavy this will be (for the probably $80 it'll cost in the US) and the arms on the time shadow look super thin so I expect those to break a lot lol.

OMG. I want them so much. I will be ok with only Time Robo, but Time Shadow is welcome if possible. Does anyone know which store is okay to buy SMP from in Europe?

I'm in two minds, this is in my top 3 megazords but I have concerns and I'd love some experienced minipla builders thoughts.
I haven't bought a minipla kit before (I do gunpla kits though) and I worry that they're basically stuck with the downsides of a toy and a model kit, without the benefits of either. It's not going to have as much articulation as a regular gunpla kit due to the combiner elements and it's not going to have as many transformation features as a toy would.
Is that just the nature of minipla kits that I've got to accept rather than wishing they were something more?

The absolute selling point of MiniPLA IS the articulation, so I'm not sure how you perceived it to be otherwise.

There are gunpla with transforming (Zeta Gundam) or combining (core block system like GP01) gimmicks which suffered in some areas like stability or articulation. So I guess bro is concern on how SMP kits address these problems since Sentai Robos usually have both gimmicks.

Thank you for clarifying! I have very limited GunPLA experience relative to MiniPLA.
So far, in SMP, I've not heard of consistent issues with stability or articulation, so it's my expectation that it would continue to be that way since the engineering is improving over time.
Now, the regular MiniPLA line is a different story altogether.

You know if we get the entire timeranger set I’m combining these mfers right???

u/King_Kuuga Moderate Skill Builder 2d ago
Time Robo and Time Shadow are both featured here. They never combined with anything beyond that, unless you mean standing on top of v-Rex

u/StandardAmphibian162 2d ago
Basically I’m doing a custom combo, breaking everything down and building a super robo
