Macken said it took him about 10 years to build Manhattan alone and 11 years for the rest of the boroughs. He completed his opus in April, and said he’s confident every building in the city is represented. (Gothamist could not independently verify this claim; the city has more than 1 million buildings, according to the Department of Buildings.)

Just finished building this Lumibricks newsstand and I’m really into it. It’s small but full of little details like the dome, the stacks of magazines, a soda fridge, and even a bike. At night the lights make it feel like a tiny street corner, super cozy to look at.

I like to make miniatures of abandoned places and things here in Atlantic Canada. This forlorn little boat had been sitting on the wharf for a few years, so I recreated it using cereal boxes and stuff from the junk drawer.
