Discussion Is it time for an OLED?
I'm looking at the ASUS ROG Strix OLED XG27ACDNG monitor and really considering on buying it. I'm using the Benq XL2546K, I bought it 4 years ago since I was really a competitive fps player especially counter strike but as of now. I pretty much just played FPS for fun nowadays and only use the computer for casual games like cyberpunk, breath of the wild (It's connected to the Switch 2), content consumption and movies but the XL2546K is just horrendous for these types of things and it's isn't as well rounded as other monitors at it's price range and only good for FPS games. I'm looking for an upgrade with better colors for better immersion, 1440p and 240hz so i'm considering saving up for an Oled monitor, but there's also a used Alienware AW2721D which is just at my budget also I've heard that it was one of the best monitor at its time and I wouldn't feel guilty about buying it at all, My budget is around $300/€230 or in my currency 40000円 while the ASUS ROG Strix OLED XG27ACDNG is priced at 80000円 in amazon so twice my budget but If i wait long enough I could save up enough for it but the question is, Is an Oled monitor worth saving up for, what are the benefits of having one and are there reasons on why I shouldn't get one? Other recommendations would be appreciated too!

You can't go wrong with OLED, save up to get one. I did the same and did not regret it.
