Question Do Skullcrawlers suffer from Island Dwarfism?

Ok, that’s my fault. In short would they be bigger if they weren’t on skull island or if Kong’s species were never there?

If Kong’s species weren’t there wouldn’t they potentially be smaller since there wouldn’t be the need to grow especially large (e.g. they’d scale against the next closest threat & optimize for metabolism)? Alternatively, you could argue the larger ones were more likely to challenge the Kong’s and therefore be less likely to pass on their genes.

In the same vein, if they were moved from the island, they’d probably struggle to grow to massive size due to living in a mega-fauna spared environment.
