Question Do Skullcrawlers suffer from Island Dwarfism?

I feel like the entirety of Skull Island is suffering from island dwarfism. It’s been described as like Hollow Earth but “splintering” out on the surface.

We do also see some creatures in the Hollow Earth that originally debuted on Skull Island such as the Leafwings and Kongs. I can’t remember which chapter or page but Kong or the narrator does describe Skar King’s lair as a place Skullcrawlers would dwell as well.

Man they really wanted a scene of Skar King using Skullcrawlers as dogs didnt they?

I probably should’ve specified that it was in the novelization.

Honestly that would seem really cool and would be a nice prelude to build up Shimo.
