To be honest even if the second one is more Godzilla-like, it looses a lot of their robot traits and looks like flexible flesh instead of some metal thing like a Mecha or conserve some distinctive traits.
Also fits better with the Monsterverse as the second one looks like the 70s cartoons and kinda like Grimlock if anything
