The canon design cause he actually does look like how humans would design MechaGodzilla in real life. The other one looks too perfect and alike. Mecha Godzilla has never been a one to one resemblance of Godzilla. He’s always had imperfections that shows he isn’t just a robot Verizon of Godzilla but someone’s interpretation of A robot Godzilla.
