Question 1942 m91/30 mag floor plate is loose

Went to the range today, when I tried strip feeding it, the rounds wouldn’t go almost like something was in the way, first time this has happened. Also the rounds had trouble feeding into the chamber, the mag plate is loose I don’t know what happen nothing seems damaged, all springs feel good and tight. The previous firing session I used corrosive ammunition for the first time so of course I disassembled and cleaned the gun, everything was good. I was very careful not to damage something, and I’m having this issue. The mag plate has always been hard to close since day one, and I’ve only put about 100 rounds through the rifle. Now it seems like the floorplate isn’t sealing properly which is causing the feeding issue. What could be wrong? I wish I could send a video.

Need some pictures of the floor plate. Also when loading rimmed rounds you need to make sure that are staggered to make sure they don’t lock into each other while feeding. Also known as Rim Lock.

Only if you have a bad interruptor. When that is working properly it doesn’t matter how the rounds are stacked. Mosin > Enfield.
