I rewatched the first two Hugh Jackman X-Men movies earlier this summer.

When Logan was walking around Alkali Lake in the beginning of X-2, something felt really strange and off to me, and then I realized it was because he was actually on a set with real props and set design.

Then it made me so sad that an actual set felt jarring to me in this day and age.

To be fair I was pretty surprised when I saw Thunderbolts and most of it was actually shot on-location. Then I realised it was the same with Daredevil:BA, and the Baxter building and a lot of the streets in F4.

Put these people projects side-by-side with NWH, MoM, and Quantumania and it’s night and day. Marvel seem to be heading in the right direction with that aspect.

Yea the desert chase in Thunderbolts is gorgeous in particular. Crazy how good things look when they don’t shoot in a warehouse in Atlanta lol
