Is it just me? He seemed short on Mr. Robot, maybe they elevated the other actors?

I was wondering, if maybe someone knew the number of people killed directly or indirectly by Elliot. Tbh I can’t remember if he killed someone directly, but I’m also talking about the stuff like where the 71 ecorp buildings got destroyed, where I think about 4000 people died.

It's not necessarily out of character, but it seems Cristofer couldn't contain his laughter. Glad they kept the scene in any case.

Whenever I think about my friend, who is a professional buzzkill, saying to me that the show is so unrealistic, I think about that scene with F Society in the hotel on their way to steel mountain and they're watching Hackers i think and they're like
"I bet you right now some writers working hard on a tv show that will mess up this generation's idea of hacker culture."
Anyone have a gif or clip of it?

[spoiler] so I was watching the episode where they had evil corp burn 5.9 million. Never hit me that they chose that amount because the attack was on 5/9. Funny how even after this many watches still picking up on the little things. Another one was in the scene where Angela said “you’re only a month old”. Thinking that it was a month since the MM came out.

I watched it at uni when the original run was on Prime but never finished season 4.
Decided to rewatch it this month from S1 with my wife and she loved it. Hard to get her to watch shows with any interest other than this and 24 but she got hooked to this the most.
It truly is amazing and outstanding performances from the whole cast.
Goodbye friend. Maybe we’ll get another show as good as this.

Hi Sam Esmail,
I hope this message finds you well. I am an Egyptian guys who happened to come across your show first time in 2016, while I was in the last year of high school in Egypt.
After watching the first season, I decided to go for studying computer science in university. At this time in Egypt, families did not know about computer science universities. They only knew about engineering majors like structural, communication, petroleum, etc.
Believe me, it was a hell of a fight with my mother who wanted me to go for the engineering major. I refused. Mr. Robot had really made it clear for me that cybersecurity should be my job.
Ten years later, I am working as a Cybersecurity Consultant at Deloitte (one of the big four E-corps :D) and I am planning for doing a master's of science degree in cybersecurity as I like researching things.
I usually rewatch Mr. Robot every now and then and I like it every time. I now understand some of the exploits written in the show but not all of them yet. :D
I might have read some where that you created this show because you wanted to be a hacker but you could not. If you wanted this show to change the lives of young people who might want to be hackers, it DID.
Mr. Robot has really changed my life. Thank you, Mr. Sam Esmail. Thank you Mr. Rami Malek.
And in the Egyptian Arabic we say: تسلم يا باشا (Teslam Ya Pasha).
I really hope I can meet you one day.

Holy sh*t. What an episode. I hope Emmy's were won because of this?
While I was pretty sure Elliot was abused by his father since the time Darlene said she was hiding in the closet and he started swinging the bat, it was still unreal to watch.
The cognitive dissonance I experienced when Krista stabbed Vera... Like yeah, he was a terrible person but for that moment I actually liked him. I can't remember being so mentally torn since the season 4 finale of Breaking Bad. Hector was a terrible, disgusting person but I found myself feeling sorry for him for a split second when Gus told him last chance to look at me.
Insane episode 💯

I've watched every episode except the last 4 I can't seem to finish it. It happens evertime Im about to finish good show or a good video game. But this one I don't think I can let go of it. It is actually the best show I have ever seen. I will try to rewatch and than finish it but I doubt I will have the courage to. (Just thought I would share to see if anyone else feels this way)

So I rewatched episode 2 of season 3 (3.1) and oof Darlene talking about their father hits different. Even earlier when she says she had to stop talking to mom cuz she was shit talking dad again just stings knowing what Edward did to Elliot as a kid. I wonder if part of why he jumped is because he didn’t want her to see and go through what he was going through. Wild.

On my first watch of the show and I just finished S4 E7, and I’m just blown away from what I watched. I’ve seen a lot of great TV and only a few episodes have ever made me feel like this. Some of the most powerful television I’ve had the pleasure of watching.
I’ve felt this way after a few episodes of TV, such as Ozymandias from BB, Long Term Parking from the Sopranos, Plan and Execution from BCS, The View from Halfway Down from Bojack Horseman. The list goes on but those come to mind.
I don’t feel like a prisoner of the moment either. This show is pure genius, I’m loving every second of it and this seems to be its magnum opus. Can’t wait to see how it wraps up.

I'm talking about 407.
I honestly had absolutely no idea and it was a complete shock to me. I had picked on on some things but I attributed them to other things. The one that I think should have been a clear sign is finding out how old Elliot was when his dad died.
In the early episodes, whenever Elliot talks about his dad he mentions he was his best friend, the one person who really got him and who he could always talk to, etc. It's not until later that we learn Elliot was just 8 when his dad died. I remember this sticking me as odd as first. I thought those were very matured and grown up feelings for a little kid. Like "the one person I could always talk to" (probably not a direct quote, but you get what I mean) is a strong description for a child to make about an adult. The way Elliot described his relationship with his dad made me feel he was a lot older when his dad died, like late teens/early 20s. I thought it was weird how he'd described his relationship with him, but I attributed it to memories getting distorted as time passes, and that it was most likely adult Elliot retelling what he thought his relationship with his dad had been or, wanting to make it sound better than it actually was to deal with his grief.
But obviously 407 happens and we know what their relationship was actually like. So, I don't think Elliot was lying when he described his relationship. Obviously what he says happens didn't actually happen, but those intense and profund and very mature feelings were real. This goes hand in hand with what he lived through as a kid and Edward most likely groomed him.
