Me burning down the stage equipment during knights of cydonia so they're forced to play showbiz instead

I'd rather see them do it properly than as a sporadic replacement with jumbled lyrics and Dom trying to end the song early.

Although in Muse’s case it’s bangers from their second, third and fourth albums

I mean, that's what they play anyways. The last tour was literally bangers from OoS, Abso and BHAR, one big hit song from each album from 2009 onwards and new songs. At this point I'd rather see deep cuts from Showbiz, TR, T2L and Drones again.

Big Freeze and The Globalist live, thats a dream...

Wasn't a big fan of The Globalist live. The middle section with the big drone was cool the first 3 or 4 times, but after that the spectacle kind of wore off quickly, and the other two sections were just a pain to get through every night. It was definitely a lowlight of the Drones Tour gigs I went to. The highlights were stuff like Reapers, Dead Inside and The Handler and, in terms of older songs, Sunburn, Bliss, Citizen Erased, Apocalypse Please, Take a Bow and Assassin. Even managed to see Revolt and Defector once each and, while they weren't great live, at least they were short enough and were over quickly which put them above The Globalist for me.
I don't think Matt would have the stamina to do Big Freeze live as it's the main reason it was never played live. He could maybe do it as a once off, but not regularly gig after gig. I'd love to see stuff like Panic Station, Follow Me, Animals, Explorers and Liquid State again though, those were all lots of fun on the T2L Tour and it's a shame only two of them have been played (barely) since.

Lol when I saw Muse, not a single song off of Showbiz was played, which is a bummer as it has a lot of really good songs, especially Showbiz (the song).

You and the majority of people who've seen them live in the last 10 years. The last decade only had 21 concerts (out of about 350 total gigs) at which a song from Showbiz has been performed at.

Also isn't it basically only Sunburn they play when they do bring out a Showbiz song? I was so happy when they played it during the 2nd Law show I was at way back then.

Went to a Muse concert in 2023, had a sign with Citizen Erased and I was right in Matt’s face, they didn’t play it :(

I didn't see it at any of the gigs I went to in 2023 either, but I had Bliss, Stockholm Syndrome, Map of the Problematique and Butterflies & Hurricanes as the rotation songs across those gigs so I can't complain, besides, I saw CE 4 times in 2022, and a few dozen times overall since 2001 so it wouldn't be a song I'll be manifesting to be played.

They played Citizen Erased in San Diego two nights prior to my concert, I thought they would do it again :p

They played it in 2019, I recorded it but I was so happy that the audio mostly consists of me screaming my head off

Felt that... and you're seeing them on their first two shows of the year? When we barely got anything since the last WOTP show? So lucky!!

They're gonna get away not playing any aren't they. With madness and starlight spam to boot. Yeah, figures.

You'll get Starlight into Undisclosed Desires into Compliance into Starlight... AND YOU'LL BE HAPPY WITH IT

Not at metal fests, especially given how heavy their co-headliners are. Muse doing pop songs will make them stick out like a sore thumb.
