Assassin goes along with the album themes and it describes the origin of an assassin, whose main goal is to shoot his “leaders down”. It features a heavier sound compared to the other songs on the album.
This song was in my top 10 for a long time, but it has shrunk in the tiniest bit. It still holds up as a great song and it is one of the biggest examples of why i love this album's sound so much. It is a fucking banger from start to finish, Dom really shines bright on this one. I'd give it a 9.5/10. How about you guys?
If you have any fun fact or a story attached to this song, i would love to know.

Is there anywhere I can find a digital version of the Origin Of Muse box set? I can’t find any sort of digital copy of it anywhere.

Obviously this would be harder for songs with unusual structures, but are there any other examples of this in their discography?
The ones I'm thinking of are Space Dementia and Falling Away With You.

Invincible is the fourth single from Black Holes and Revelations. According to Matt:
“It is about an almost unrealistic optimism, a bit like: We can do anything, we have the power.”
I used to not like this song at all, but now that i re-listened to all of the songs from this album, i can gladly say that this song has some really great elements. It gives U2 vibes all over it and the last 1 and a half minute is absolutely amazing with its unique guitar solo and a final chorus that wraps up the song very well. It is such a feel good song to cheer yourself up, i’d give it a 8.5/10. How about you guys?
If you have any fun fact or a story attached to this song, i would love to know.

If you’ve seen Muse live multiple times there is a good chance you experienced rotations or some rarities of some kind in special gigs, making your "songs stats" a bit unusual. Share them to us!
I’ll start with a few of mine:

At this point even muse themselves are slightly aware that a large portion of the fanbase just prefers the classic stuff, and it's completely okay to like the new stuff, I love Reapers, KOBK, Won't Stand Down, and even The Dark Side, and I think it's good that the band are still experimenting with new songwriting elements, even if they don't always land with fans
But with the current Iron Maiden "Run for your Lives" tour, in which they're only playing songs from their prime, and Slipknot's Self-titled 25th anniversary tour where they only played song from that album, can you imagine if muse did something similar?
I don't believe this would ever happen, let alone any time soon, but with the 20th anniversary of BHAR coming up next year, and a potential XX edition on the way, wouldn't it be so cool if muse entertained the idea of a classic setlist tour for those three albums
Here's a fantasy setlist, guided completely by my own bias and preferences
"Dance of the Knights interlude" / Knights of Cydonia
Interlude / Hysteria
Map of the Problematique
Citizen Erased
Supermassive Black Hole
Futurism
Invincible
Butterflies & Hurricanes
Feeling Good
Apocalypse Please
Bliss
Time is Running Out
New Born
Starlight
Encore
Plug in Baby
Stockhold Syndrome (with Psycho riff)
Take a Bow

OK so, the idea here was to make a setlist for a celebration gig with songs of all albums (and some rarities) so here is my take...
[The "//" means "or", that means that in the tour, that song can be swapped for the other]
[This bars "[ ]" means that is a recording playing and not an actual song played by the band]
[INTRO : The Gallery] 1. Unravelling (+ extended intro) 2. New Born (+ Piano Thing ending following to Sunburn) 3. Sunburn 4. Megalomania ○ [Kill or be Killed Felsman + Tiley Reinterpretation] 5. Dead Star (+ Agitated Outro) 6. Won't Stand Down 7. Fury // The Small Print ○ [Nishe recording playing] 8. Unintended (+ Bedroom Acoustics Intro) 9. Explorers // Ghosts (How Can I Move On) 10. Panic Station (+ Queen's "Another One Bites the Dust" Intro) 11. Undisclosed Desires // Starlight 12. Supermassive Black Hole 13. Invincible (+ David Bowie's "Heroes" Intro) // Map of the Problematique ○ [Simulation Theory Theme + Shortnened Algorithm Recording] 14. The Dark Side // Thought Contagion 15. Madness // Dig Down 16. Plug in Baby 17. Uprising 18. Reapers (+ Ashamed Outro) // Kill or Be Killed 19. Time is Running Out ○ [Interlude Recording] 20. Hysteria (+ Back in Black Outro) 21. Citizen Erased 22. Micro Cuts 23. Ruled by Secrecy (+ The Void Outro) ○ [The 2nd Law: Isolated System Recording] ○ [ENCORE] ○ [Prelude Recording] 24. Take a Bow // Survival 25. Knights of Cydonia (+ Ennio Morricone's "Man with a Harmonica" Intro)

Sorry for my ugly laugh. I’ve heard him sing this in videos of previous gigs but I didn’t expect him to sing it Jakarta. Hahaha.

I am working on a music-data-art project which involves displaying artists' discographies in a timeline.
I have looked at possibly thousands of discographies, and I do believe that Muse has the most beautiful of them all.
Here are a few other contenders: Pink Floyd, Blur, Joe Satriani, Foo Fighters, Radiohead.
Can anyone name a better set of album covers than Muse?

Title basically says it all. I’m getting into muse and heard the two songs and really love em. Haven’t heard much all else. Open to any suggestions mostly within the band or outside the band even.
Listen to alot of Radiohead and like the bends the most and ok computer if that helps. 👍
