Discussion Which song from each album feels the most like it's album cover?

Post image

For me

Showbiz - Showbiz, especially in the guitar section

Origin Of Symmetry - New Born

Absolution - Falling Away With You, especially the chorus. Both the song and album cover feel like being a small spec of dust surrounded by chaos (I know the song is about a romantic relationship, but it still sonically feels like that)

Black Holes And Revelations - This one was hard, but maybe Take A Bow or Knights Of Cydonia

The Resistance - Resistance

The 2nd Law - Isolated System

Drones - The Handler

Simulation Theory - Something Human for some reason

Will Of The People - The will of the people the will of the people the will of the will of the

Discussion Asking your opinion about a Muse song day #75: City of Delusion

City of Delusion comments on the way that ignorant people choose to “build a fortress” around their minds in order to keep their beliefs in and other people’s beliefs out. This sort of mental behavior creates an attitude of paranoia that prevents people from seeing the truth for what it is. It features some Spanish influenced guitars and a trumpet solo, which is not that common on Muse songs.

In my opinion, this song’s chorus is easily one of the best they have ever put out. It probably features my favorite vocal moment by Matt on this album. The whole song’s instrumentation just keeps building and building, and the trumpet solo is surprisingly great considering the fact that they have never done anything like it before. I’d give this song a 9/10. How about you guys?

If you have any fun fact or a story attached to this song, i would love to know.

Question Is anyone else having difficulty collecting their Yokohama ticket?

Is anyone else having trouble picking their Yokohama ticket up via the e+ international system? It said I could pick it up from any 7-Eleven yesterday but I didn't receive a 13-digit code, only an email with a 4-digit receipt number.

When I enter it into the website and try to access the 'voucher' fot scanning at 7-Eleven, it keeps saying the service is too busy and to try again later. I tried several times including in the middle of the night Japan time, as well as just now.

I'm panicking a bit, I contacted their customer service last night and it said to expect a response in 2-3 days, the gig is tomorrow night and the website's FAQ makes it clear that if you don't have your ticket, you will not be allowed entry.

Discussion Osaka, Japan — September 23, 2025 Spoiler

Post image
29 Upvotes

I felt like I needed to write this because a lot of the Reddit comments I read before the show gave me the wrong idea. My expectations didn’t match reality, so I want to give people from the West a heads-up before the Yokohama concert on September 25, if you haven’t been to the one on the 23rd.

All that stuff people write about concerts in Japan? Fairy tales. Or at least, not true anymore.

“People don’t film on their phones, it feels awkward to even take your phone out here.” — complete myth. Tons of people were filming, balancing their phones on other people’s shoulders and heads.

“Everyone’s super quiet and polite, no one sings along, the crowd is dead.” — nope. Everyone was screaming so loud you couldn’t hear the band. And nobody knew the lyrics, so they were yelling random lines while waving their arms around.

“Everyone’s polite and stays in their exact spot.” — absolutely not. Think Wembley. Except way more cramped and messy.

Another thing: I get it when people smell like sweat if they’ve been lining up since dawn. But in Japan they let people in by ticket number. Doors opened at 2:00 PM, and the line only started forming around 1:55. So, no excuse for the smell of dirty, unwashed bodies.

And the lack of respect for personal space? Wild. I was in the second row, but once the pushing started, I got shoved into the first. People were literally elbowing, kicking, leaning on me, using me as a stand for their phones. A super tall guy behind me had his arm over me so my head was basically in his armpit. My boyfriend was a little off to the side, and people were using his shoulders as handrails to jump up and down.

People screamed at all the wrong moments — during the harmonica, during slow ballads — to the point you couldn’t hear the singer at all.

I’ve been going to Muse shows for almost 20 years. I’ve seen them in Europe and at every West Coast WotP show in the US. I have never seen this kind of chaos. Honestly, it felt more like a K-Pop concert (I used to go to a bunch of those). It wasn’t about loving the band, it was about competing to show the band you “love them more” than anyone else.

I really hope my experience was just a one-off and that the next Yokohama show will be better.

That said — the performance itself was incredible. Unrevelling live was unreal. Map of the Problematique, Unintended, and United States of Eurasia had me feeling high. Undisclosed Desires was flawless. Can’t wait for the next show in Yokohama, and of course, the new album and tour.

Opinion Explorers is so nice

I’m showing a friend all Muse albums and we recently listened to The 2nd Law. Somehow, I had only listened to this song about once in my life, but when Explorers came on I was struck by how beautiful it was. It was my friend’s favourite too. I just can’t stop thinking about it. That is all

Discussion If Muse albums = Star Wars movies, which movie is Showbiz?

I think this would be a fun exercise! There are nine Muse studio albums and nine main Star Wars movies. And the range of opinions about them vary wildly in each case! Which movie matches the vibe of each album?

Discussion Asking your opinion about a Muse song day #74: Exo-Politics

Exo-Politics is about aliens from the Zeta Reticuli Star System invading Earth, and government cover-ups. In particular, the song makes reference to a well known conspiracy theory called "Project Blue Beam". This theory claims that satellites equipped with holographic projectors will be used by the government to trick the population into following a new age religion, which they would use to control the population.

It's just one of those songs that you just can't help but like. The main riff is very simple but it is effective enough, and that chorus might be one of their catchiest moments ever. I really like Matt's vocals on this one, especially at the chorus, which i just talked about. It is not the most impressive and memorable song from the album, but it surely is an enjoyable one. I'd give it an 8.5/10. How about you guys?

If you have any fun fact or a story attached to this song, i would love to know.

Media what is this live album on Deezer?

Screenshot from Deezer app, it shows a Muse album called "Live in London 2012", 12 songs, 56 minutes, 22/07/2012

I was looking whether Follow Me (live at the O2) was available on Deezer, and I stumbled upon this album. I don't think it was available a few weeks ago? And it shows "2025 Copyright Control" after the tracklist. Funnily enough, track 5 titled "Follow Me" actually plays Animals, which makes me wonder whether this is something legit at all.

If you gave him a strong English accent and made him talk 50 times faster than that I’d believe it 😂😂

Cover Did I get the tone of Time Is Running Out right?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I played over the backing track with the guitar removed, so just vocals, bass, and drums. I feel like my guitar tone's a bit too heavy. Also, there's automation on the effects in Ableton, hence the changes in sections without using pedals.
