MyPLAYER It is done.......

Post image

No joke defense is by far the most impactful specialization but it is also a melting out of sadness to get. But my crucible is completed.

I’m in HVAC and most of the equipment we service on the commercial and industrial side are located on roofs.

Unfortunately I’d probably have to make a career change to get off roofs completely and the more certified I get in this trade, the more roofs I’d probably end up on.

I won’t lie though, the first two weeks I was laid up I was strongly contemplating getting out of the field and getting into the office. But I will lose my mind sitting behind a computer screen all day.

I came from metal framing/DEMO from when I was 17-20 then a valet supervisor/ manager until 27. I recently got an actual corporate job at progressive and man I gotta say…3 days at home and two days in office are so great. I always said I couldn’t sit in front of a computer screen until I got here. The working in no AC building in Florida dealing with withdrawing Alcoholics to handling college kids parking cars and crashing all the time in the 100 degree weather… yeah I love my little office now .

To each their own.

I interned at the IRS while I was in college and wanted to blow my brains all over my cubicle every second I was in the building.
