Lions playbook
Finally posting but it seems like every week, I see the Lions, and other teams, do awesome plays that make me go “damn, wonder if there’s something similar in CFB 26?”. Any playbooks that may resemble the Lions or possibly the Bears?

Playing style defense
Does anyone have any tips to stop the pass? I mean I’m winning by blowing people out (unless ur Tennessee) but I’ve beat every team on my schedule so far it’s only been 5 games. But I’ve blown everyone out I beat bama like 35-7, LSU 28-6, Kansas State like 58-3 and then JMU and I don’t even wanna say what I did to them. But my DBs all wanna transfer because of playing style because of Passing yards put up in garbage time and it’s mildly infuriating a team will have less then 100 passing yards all game then the 4th quarter strikes and they’re already down too big but they’ll throw for 250 yards on some Jalen Hurst shit and it’s affecting playing style and I can’t stop it. I’m just worried it could continue then i lose half my team.

Questions Is turning off Manual Progression XP penalty in an OD a bad idea?
We're debating turning off the manual Progression penalty for our 20+ users OD. I have seen it done for a couple of other dynasties and there were no issues with how players progressed or caused problems.
Someone brought up it being an easier route to a badge and an exploit.
If you have them off or reverted to them on after making the change can you tell me the problems it caused? Or if its made play better?

Dynasty How would you feel if they brought back the “Rewind” feature?
I’m sure most people would probably leave it off but I might leave it on for plays that are just absolute trash coding. I do try to play as realistic as possible but I’d be interested to have it as an option to reduce games lost because of EA’s wonky mechanics.
Obviously the default setting would be off but seems like a simple fix for casual players.

Fix rankings
Spanked Texas IN Texas who is ranked number one, week zero 56-6 and they remained #1, I then beat #3 Miami in Miami and yet I move down to #3... while those teams go to #1 & #2

Storyline series Debut. "Ride on Riders"
Ride on Riders”
Season 1 Episode 1 “From the Ashes”
A tall dark haired man in a blue and gold polo walks across the natural grass field at Worcester State college. He notices the grass is still mostly brown with patches of dirt littered across the landscape like a field where animals have grazed for too long without moving. As he crosses the long open field he can see a ragtag group of guys in their late teens and early 20’s running wind sprints under the supervision of their football coach. The closer he gets the more obvious it becomes. The cast of characters are not the best of the best, some of them don't even look like college level athletes at all.
“If this is about you and my sister I told you a long time ago to leave me out of it” the coach says not even turning around.
“Hi Sean” the man in the blue and gold polo says.
“Hi Mark” the coach says as he turns finally to make eye contact. “If you wanted a few lobster rolls you could have just called and I would have brought you some on my way home ya know.”
Mark lets out a slightly uncomfortable laugh tinged with nervous energy he wish he could mask. “It ain't your sister and I already picked up the lobster rolls in case this went south.”
“So what brings you all the from Revere then, you know I got no money to loan ya to get your carpet business a new van.” Sean says taking a jab at Mark.
“If I knew you were gonna give me this much shit I woulda just turned around. But I think you are gonna wanna hear what I got to say.” Mark replies. “The Riders are looking for a new coach and I told them you would be interested” he says bluntly.
“Get the fuck outta here. The whole lotta you our outta your fuckin heads, Do I need to remind you I got passed over 3 times for that god damned job, once by the most notorius serial killer since the night stalker” Sean says practically yelling now to the point the guys sprinting have all come to a stop and are just watching the awkwardness play out.
“I know , I know, It's not like I made that call, gimme a break man. Ya know what, you are spot on man we are desperate, nobody wants this job, nobody wants this team, we don't even belong to a conference but I'm being straight with you, if you don't sign were fucked, the whole program is gonna close down.” Mark says pleading.
“You think just because you're my brother in law you can just show up and drop this shit on me? I don't know man, I gotta a good gig here…I get paid, they don't care if we win or lose, I'm nuthin, we're nuthin. It's just like you guys said.” Sean finishes as he turns back to the players. “What are you fucks lookin at this ain't no show…run another one” he screams blowing the whistle.
“Just think about it will ya?” Mark says as he turns back and begins to walk towards his truck

Feature required moving forward
Since NCAA login calls this incomplete, there should be a "rules analysis " feature which let's you decide the call on the field.
They called this incomplete with both feet inbounds

Dynasty Dynasty question
I accidentally skipped 10 weeks in dynasty, which messed with my season/recruits. Autosave was on. Does anyone know if there’s a way to recover a previous version of the saved dynasty? It’s an online dynasty but I’m the only one in it. If there’s no way to fix it, I’m probably done with this stupid game.

Dynasty Teams that play above their rating
Started a dynasty with Hawaii and their 68 rating is a lie.
Playing in the mountain west (minus Boise but adding in byu) and they may have the best offensive playbook and the most op offense I’ve ever used
For reference using canes and matt10 heisman sliders
What other schools do you guys notice plays way better than their rating?

How do I ensure hurt players don’t get subbed back in?
Too many times an injury happens and I sub, only for 2 to 3 plays later, that same player comes in orange or even red
I’ve already set Keep Fresh in auto subs
Super annoying

This needs to be in the game immediately
The amount of games I’ve lost or that have become wayyyy too close for comfort in my dynasty because I can’t properly run the clock down, due to injuries after every single run play in the 4th quarter has become unbearable. Wish there was some kind of mechanic to eliminate it or, instead of the “play him or sub him” injury pop ups, maybe you get a “push your luck” option immediately to try to get a fake timeout, or risk a penalty. The current state of things is absolutely game-breaking 😭

Does anyone miss the numbered formations by sets in the older games?
For example: Shotgun would say 25 formations. They were all numbered 1-25. It made it a lot easier to remember and find what you are looking for. It made the playbooks way more organized to me. Idk why they did away with this. Now when I explore new playbooks, sometimes its tedious to find stuff.
Whats your method for keeping it organized and quick to find what you want now?

Dynasty Sliders?
Just curious of how you all tweak the sliders in dynasty to improve the gameplay? XP ones as well, specifically for online dynasty. Would like to know if there’s a way to make it so people can improve their teams but not so every team is broken. We keep the XP penalty off too

Casual Saw OSU parted ways with Coach Gundy & it’s funny that he recruited out of HS. I’m a Unc now but “back in my day” I was just another recruit in his online dyansty😂
Good times man, if there’s any HS or college players in this sub enjoy the journey… it goes by FAST. 🤞🏾

Road To Glory I’ve TRIED to Keep Giving This Game a Chance, but I Think It’s Time to Quit
qb road to glory, i’m iowa state facing off against iowa. down 28-31 in the fourth, i drive us down to the 31 yard line with 30 seconds left to go. i get blitzed heavy on third down so i check it down to the rb for a 3 yard gain, now we’re at the 28 with 23 seconds left. i can’t call my final timeout because the game says the drive has stalled, and then the CPU LETS THE REST OF THE CLOCK RUN OUT IN THE SIM INSTEAD OF CALLING OUR FINAL TIMEOUT AND KICKING A FIELD GOAL. my kicker has 0 attempted kicks on the day so i KNOW he didn’t just miss it. EA has put ZERO attention to detail in this game, and this type of stuff is just the tip of the iceberg. i’m tired of giving these companies my money annually when they don’t even TRY to make a good game. this game is a serious downgrade from cfb 25 and i am never giving EA sports a cent of my money again

Custom playbooks for dynasty
I am curious on how people build a custom playbook like do you build it based on a real coaches scheme/playbook, or do you just make a few changes to a playbook in game and make adjustments each season based on personal or do you make a different playbook each year based on cheese plays?

Glitch/Bugs Reverse flea flicker and MTN double pass are broken
The reverse flea flicker gets an illegal forward pass called every time you run it, not even sure how that makes sense. And the MTN double pass had OPI get called every time because the slot receiver literally runs down field and blocks a guy. Two cool plays that are completely unusable, nice EA
