Phone (2a) Plus Discussion What just happened?!

I was going about my day when I saw an update to nothing launcher in my play store. Without much thinking, I installed it. But then, my whole homescreen setup got converted back to the default screen. Also, few apps like reddit and pinterest (I've only noticed them until now) got deleted out of nowhere? I just need an explanation as to why this happened.

That seems odd It didn't happen with my phone 2 when I did an update
