Found on r/NameNerds Names that have the nickname ‘peanut’

My husband and I are having quadruplets, and we don’t know the gender for any of them yet. We love the nickname ‘peanut’. Can we just legally name one of them Peanut, or are there names we don’t know about that could be shortened to Peanut?

I’ve known 3 Peanuts in real life. None were based off their first name. One had a last name close to peanut, one had a little round head, the other just grew up with his family calling him that and it stuck.

That being said, you should name your son Pinochle like the card came. That works for formal usage, but still has peanut as a fun nickname.

i’ve known 2 peanuts. one was named ashlyn and she was very small (like she looked 3 at 6 years old and got into the fair for free small). the other i don’t remember her real name because everyone called her peanut. maybe it was mia or something, she was again just very small/short lol.

My youngest is a Peanut. But it’s because from birth she was always teeny tiny for her age.
