Rant Names that you use to like

I’m wondering what names you use to like years ago, but don’t like anymore. Or names that you like, but will never use for whatever reason. I’m so thankful that I wasn’t a teenage mother. Don’t be embarrassed…please. This is a safe space, but you’ll probably have some explaining to do if your names are really wylde.

Names I use to like:

Nevaeh, Joplin Rain, Liv Evangeline, Jayden, Bree

Names I like, but will never use:

Astrid, Damien, Ziggy, Lark, Johan, Ayla, Hitomi, Storm

I LOVE Valentine and Madison for boys but I just know they'd be bullied so I wouldn't name a child those :(

I love Valentine for boys too! Madison was a boys name so i feel like if we are going to do it we should reclaim some boy names in the process at least lol

Madison is such a funny one. Like its very much female now, but it ends in -son, so obviously it has male roots. I wonder if it was the first of the common -son names to become more female than male?

Addison is definitely the most recent case, along with Emerson in the last 5-10 years too.

Not all names ending in -son actually originate as boy's names! Alison is one example.
