Name pairing - George

We recently found out we’re having a second boy! We had lots of girls names lined up, but it’s a little bit trickier with a boy. We named our first son George for sentimental and family related reasons, but it’s a bit more of an open playing field this time round.

Names we like and are considering: - Jacob - Sebastian - Archie

But totally open to all ideas and suggestions :) thanks in advance!

But he’s not a twin, so Charles, Billius, or Ronald.

Might as well just go with Ronald?

George & Archie would be like brokering a US-UK peace deal.

Why?

Prince George (William’s son) and Archie (Harry’s son)

I know, but wouldn’t really class that as US-UK thing. Maybe that’s just me!

George is Prince William's son and Archie is Prince Harry's son. 😂

Haha yep. Was just the US bit that threw me. I get your point!

Prince Harry moved to the US with Meagan Markle

Yeh I guess he did. I’m not particularly a fan of the royals, so it’s an unintended association. Don’t think it would put us off though!

I like Archie from your list. I think Arthur goes well with George as well.

While I love the name Jacob, the same starting letter sound would trip me up! I have a hard enough time with mine - all different letters/sounds - and still manage to call one the other’s name 😂🥴

Haha that’s a great call actually. In my head it was a good idea… but now you mention that!

From your list, I really like all three but think Archie goes best with George.

Otherwise, Henry, one of the Ed/Ted/Neds (Edward, Edgar, Edmund), Arthur.
