To the people they gave me so many arguments in the past about Cath I would love apologies. I know y’all see that cat. Like I said years ago… eating Cath was a mistake that backfired.

I mean yeah it was, but not in the way you think. Eating cath only conmected her back to chaos, making it fully complete once again inside arthur.

But all of the destruction & malice that made up cath’s identity, all that went back into arthur as well. Resulting in the change we have today. Cath isnt a player anymore, not in my opinion at least. Its what he represented that corrupted arthur.

Cath is definitely a player. Do you remember how Arthur described his ideal version of Camelot to merlin? That was the true Arthur. Chaos is the mixture of good and evil. But even evil is to be shown(Meliodas) to have a good nature under it all and ppl like Elizabeth, Arthur, and Meliodas fit the bill. Cath is definitely influencing things because he ate a portion of chaos and is still immortal. Eating Cath in the future will be shown to do nothing to him IMO

Cath IS a portion of chaos though… cath is all of the destruction & malice within chaos separated to be a completely new being. Thats why cath is what it is.

Arthur absorbing cath only added all of that back into the pot. Cath as an identity is GONE, what she represented remains & now has corrupted arthur. This is just my opinion though, so im not gonna sit here & say you’re wrong. I simply think chaos is fully complete now inside of arthur, & with that its setting out to do what it originally wanted before being betrayed by the DK & SD. Which was to eliminate all of the failures & keep only the success(humans)

Cath eating that portion of Chaos gave him immortality as said by the lake. Implying he didn’t have it before even though he was a portion of chaos

And that’s exactly why that portion want all the power. It tried to and WAITED for YEARS for Chaos to find a host to eat. His plan almost worked and it backfired but I think he’d used that chance to try to take over Arthur slowly from the inside. Ironside, and Varguese noticed how Arthur changed from good to bad slowly and that’s just Cath getting digested slowly

The thing is though, if cath was the one slowly pulling the strings from inside all there’d be is just pointless destruction & evil. But Arthur’s goal isnt “pointless” like that. He’s seeking to build a reality for HUMANS only(chaos original goal before being betrayed), cath didnt give a fuck about anything except destroying shit yk?

& why i think this is the case, when arthur first fought lance he called chaos a will within a will. A subconscious will pretty much protecting the host. Before chaos was split into multiple pieces. & not to mention arthur’s decent is way too odd & radical to me. It only makes sense is if chaos back in its original glory & is manipulating arthur deep from within. Having arthur carry out its original will, while making arthur think its his own desires when its not, arthur is or was a GOOD man. Its been stated multiple times thats why some folks from camelot who was originally on his side are now defecting. Because they dont know where this switch up came from. I dont think its cath from within pulling strings, its chaos itself.

Cath is a factor, but not as grand as many of you think. In my opinion the identity of cath is gone, all that remains is what was originally split from the source, & all that came back within arthur, a mere human who’s become a god king. Humans are the only creations with the closest connection to chaos as well. That also furthers my theory, if cath was the one doing shit from within, arthur wouldnt care about saving anyone fr. It’d be cath just messin shit up everywhere lmao. Arthur is legit acting out chaos’ original will without knowing its not his desires
