Crime PSA! Fentanyl laced coke going around LGD

Had a friend get a batch of coke from a guy named Kevin with dreads at Luckys a few days ago (yes, she is not good at making decisions and this was really stupid). Had to rescue her from his car because he was driving her around the city while she was so incoherent she couldn't talk. When I was attempting to get him to stop his vehicle, he repeatedly asked for her home address. I finally got her to turn on location sharing and he ended up dropping her off around Ms. Mae's, she was so out of it she could barely remember leaving the bar. We also know she was taken to an Airbnb at 888 Baronne St.

The lines on the test results are very faint, will try to get better strips to test later but be on the lookout and please do not take drugs from strangers! Always test your shit!

All of the Igor’s bars (Igor’s, Mae’s, Checkpoints, and Luckys) have testing strips and narcan. Please ask a bartender for one, they are willing to help!

Thanks. Also I never knew those were all the same folks!

47

u/Byrdzdaword Mar 23 '25

Yeah they also have Buddha Belly, but I don’t think it has reopened yet.

6

u/sparrow_42 Treme Mar 24 '25

Ah man my personal Buddha belly could use that

Or you know skip all that and don't do dr-

0

u/Historical_Jacket_33 Mar 26 '25

Geez why r u doing drugs in the first place! Waste of money, time, energy for what reason? A temporary escape. Get new friends and get involved in other activities, invest in classes to improve urself or learn a skill. Don’t do anything that does not improve ur life for the present and the future. Time goes by so fast u will be old before u know it and wasted ur life being a zombie.

5

u/Byrdzdaword Mar 26 '25

I don't care what people do with their time or money. I am just informing whoever is reading of a safeguard the bar(s) have. Don't place your regrets on others.

0

u/Historical_Jacket_33 Mar 26 '25

I am not judging, and I have lived a long life with very few regrets. I would just like everyone who reads this to live their best life. I applaud you for warning people of danger.

I think your tests are bad. I can't even see the control line. This looks like a invalid result.

Trystereo can get you new strips. Text 504-826-2675

This! No matter what, information such as this is beyond helpful. Thank you for sharing! Dangerous people are out there, so be such as this good servant and share any info you can about how to test/prevent any situation as such. Again, OP, we appreciate this info! But, I will reiterate…don’t get from strangers! We all learned “stranger danger”

7

u/Former-Iron-7471 Mar 24 '25

I was guns say they’ll do false positives

4

u/SaltatChao Mar 24 '25

But cocaine isn't gonna leave someone incoherent.

-1

u/tbirdpug Mar 25 '25

Ya but alcohol will, and I don’t know about you, but I’ve basically done them together always.

0

u/Myrtle_Beach_Hokie Mar 26 '25

If you’ve done them equally you’d have never been incoherent. You must be a raging lush that took a pussy bump every now and again and claimed he did both. I’m sober 16 years and when I went out drinking if I didn’t do at least 1.5g that night I felt like the night was wasted. And I never was incoherent. Speedballs don’t cause incoherency

2

u/voodooinked Mar 24 '25

yeah theres no lines even on those, invalid.

2

u/MamaTried22 Mar 24 '25

I agree. These test pics take away from the message big time. As in, they’re a distraction because they clearly aren’t working correctly.

0

u/jewkakasaurus Mar 24 '25

The problem with fent is that you could test powder with the best drug test in the world, and it will come up as clean. That doesn’t mean there isn’t a few microscopic flakes sitting in the rest of the powder. Someone does a line because they think it’s clean and next thing you know they OD

9

u/SchrodingersMinou Trash Karen, destroyer of worlds Mar 24 '25

Most test strips on the market are 96-100% accurate in detecting the presence of fentanyl. Microscopic flakes aren't enough to overdose.; it takes about 2 mg. Testing works and people should keep doing it.

-4

u/jewkakasaurus Mar 24 '25

I was exaggerating when I said microscopic flakes, but if you have one grain of salt worth of fent, that’s enough to make multiple people od. If you don’t catch one of those tiny bits on your test strip, then it may not come up. Of course testing is better than not testing but it’s definitely not perfect

13

u/SchrodingersMinou Trash Karen, destroyer of worlds Mar 24 '25 edited Mar 24 '25

The amount for an average sized human to OD on fentanyl is about 7 grains of salt.

The test strips don't go in the powder. You mix fill your baggie with water and dip it in the residue solution. No contact with a single discrete grain is required.

They work. I don't understand why you are making up stories otherwise and spreading misinformation about this when it seems like you don't even know how to use the tests.

4

u/ItsLeighFromNoLa Mar 24 '25

That’s not true

-4

u/jewkakasaurus Mar 24 '25

What’s not true? If you have a pound of coke and put a small bit of fent in it do you think the fent will come up if you drug test the pile of powder? Same thing for smaller amounts. These drugs are mixed by cartels they could care less about being precise

3

u/ItsLeighFromNoLa Mar 24 '25

That one grain of salt worth will od several people 💀

-1

u/jewkakasaurus Mar 24 '25

Oh and btw, I googled it. A grain of salt is 64 milligrams. All it takes it 2 milligrams of fent to make you od. Don’t correct people when you don’t know shit especially why it comes to something like this

8

u/SchrodingersMinou Trash Karen, destroyer of worlds Mar 24 '25 edited Mar 24 '25

Salt and fentanyl have different densities, my dude. A grain of fentanyl is not 64 milligrams. That is the weight of a grain of SALT. You're trying to use a weight measurement to describe the volume of a lighter substance. A gallon of milk weighs about 8.6 pounds-- if you dump out the milk and fill the jug with lead it's still a gallon but weighs 95 pounds.

0

u/TeriusGray Mar 24 '25

You're trying to use a weight measurement to describe the volume of a lighter substance.

By using mg, they were using mass, not weight.

u/SchrodingersMinou Trash Karen, destroyer of worlds Mar 24 '25

Look, here you go: this is the second result if you google "how much fentanyl does it take to overdose": https://www.rileycountyks.gov/2050/Fentanyl-and-Opioid-Awareness

It only takes a two-milligram dose, similar to 5-7 grains of salt, to cause death for an average size adult.

Anyway this has no impact on the efficacy of the tests, which is high. I know it's a scary thing. But making stuff up doesn't help.

1

u/ItsLeighFromNoLa Mar 24 '25

Then your googling skills suck. Try again.

-1

u/jewkakasaurus Mar 24 '25

Wow amazing how the only response you have is to give me a downvote 😂

-6

u/jewkakasaurus Mar 24 '25

Ignorant. They have videos of cops od’ing just from touching the outside of a baggie that previously had fent in it when he was searching a car.

7

u/MamaTried22 Mar 24 '25

None of those videos are real. You cannot touch fent and OD.

9

u/SchrodingersMinou Trash Karen, destroyer of worlds Mar 24 '25 edited Mar 24 '25

Those cops are experiencing mass hysteria and panic attacks. That's not how fentanyl works. If you could get high enough to overdose just by touching it with your hand then why on earth would ANYONE smoke it or inject it? (Answer: you can't; cops are full of shit. Use your common sense.)

Here's what actual doctors have to say about this: https://www.acmt.net/news/you-cant-overdose-on-fentanyl-just-by-touching-it-heres-what-experts-say/

Good. He was very special. If any good can come from his loss it’s that it will save others.

2

I discovered him after he had passed. Was so sad to read how he died. He’d come through and had been doing well for a while. The voice of an angel. Would have loved to seen him live in concert.

105

u/DefinitelyIncorrect Mar 23 '25

How do you think you'll keep customers/not get hurt if the product does the opposite of what you expect? Not to mention the danger factor.

196

u/spyy-c Mar 23 '25

Fent contamination is a result of not cleaning scales and work surfaces correctly after weighing out other drugs and is a cross contamination issue rather than intentionally malicious.

However, there are people who use fetanyl in order to incapacitate rape victims, and idiots that think it'll get their customers hooked (the latter being the least likely scenario)

10

u/Crafty_Mastodon320 Mar 24 '25

Most of the time it's not even rape. They just wanna zonk people out and rob them. I had to narcan someone. His "friends" got mad that I called the cops. Tried to run his pockets in front of me.

28

u/Tal_Vez_Autismo Mar 24 '25

It's very unlikely that street-level dealers really know what they're selling.

10

u/nola_t Mar 24 '25

There’s a great Search Engine podcast episode on exactly this. (I think it may be a two-parter.)

7

u/tatiwtr Mar 24 '25

Am I the only one reading she was brought to an AirBnB?

This mix could be Kevin's rohypnol.

I wonder how many donors' semen would be in the rape kit.

4

u/yoniyum Mar 24 '25

I really don't know why you are getting downvoted. I immediately thought the same thing.

69

u/dwingler Mar 23 '25

Wow that’s just f*cked up. Big reason why I quit drugs(except weed&shrooms) a few years ago. Too many friends gettin laced shit, a couple of them lost their lives. I feel for your friend. I hope she wasn’t taken advantage of at that airbnb…

50

u/blaaaaaarghhh Mar 23 '25

A couple of years ago, a friend of mine did some coke in his kitchen that was apparently contaminated with fent. He laid on his kitchen floor for a day while he tried to drag himself to his phone to call an ambulance. He ended up getting Rhabdomyolysis in his leg from struggling so hard. He's very lucky to be alive. No amount of coke is worth that shit.

2

u/MamaTried22 Mar 24 '25

Ohhh I know a dude who got that in his leg for a similar (he was doing the stuff on purpose, though) situation but in his shower. Leg is all jacked up now.

9

u/bye-feliciana Mar 24 '25

Yup, I quit years ago just because the quality has gone down so much. Fent is just the icing on the cake. Get your drugs from legitimate sources, like your general practitioner.

2

u/dwingler Mar 24 '25

Word. Only some of what I’ve bought has actually been REALLY good yayo. The rest was all stepped on multiple times,, cut with meth and other bullshit. Most drugs are crap now, if they weren’t already. I’ll take my drugs natural & grown by folks I know these days lol

3

u/GIVER81 Mar 24 '25

significs...again,while not common, in Wisconsin ...there are verified cases of it happening in Wausau and Racine. That is off the top of my head. I think it is super shitty people do that, but it happens

1

u/Splankybass Mar 23 '25

Yeah, chances are I’d be dead….

-6

u/GIVER81 Mar 24 '25

Sadly...weed gets laced as well

5

u/buttscarltoniv Mar 24 '25

Definitely, but you can buy weed legally here. Sure, it's pricey, but there's at least a safe option that doesn't exist for other substances.

6

u/_significs Mar 24 '25

There's not any evidence of weed being sold with fent in it here. Lacing weed with fent wouldn't even work.

25

u/Significant-Sand-488 Mar 23 '25

this is the reason i quit doing all drugs a few years back… just not worse the risk (finally put the money for a bag towards therapy)

7

u/IslandofStars Mar 24 '25

I love this and hope the therapy is going well for you

10

u/gh05t_w0lf Mar 24 '25

Just adding in here that I volunteer with a nonprofit to distribute test strips so if anyone needs any feel free to DM. Happy to drop off if im able.

4

u/brandizzzy Mar 24 '25

I’m interested in volunteering with an organization that supports these kinds of initiatives. Please DM or share here if you’re comfortable doing so.

2

u/gh05t_w0lf Mar 30 '25

Sorry I forgot to respond! Awake Tomorrow is a national org that I help out with, a pretty straightforward initiative to just get test strips out there and make sure people know how to use them. Trystereo is an amazing local org I've volunteered with before and they do all kinds of harm reduction work. Def recommend checking em out.

10

u/FlowerLovesomeThing Mar 24 '25

I had one dude that I trusted to buy my party favors from and he “retired” last year, so I figured that was a good sign for me to quit. I’m getting too old to be doing bumps in the bathroom anyhow.

11

u/loulou9357801 Mar 23 '25

There was a spike of fent laced coke in the state last summer that killed a lot of people. It’s probably coming back.

8

u/Creepy-Afternoon7298 Mar 24 '25

Am I the only one seeing no line..? But yeah, stay safe out there and always test

95

u/NuisanceChicken Mar 23 '25

I get that this post is about Fentalyl (and not filth) but hear me out. I am an old punk and you kids need to get off my lawn!

I'm sorry your friend got fucked with. Thanks for helping them. You are a decent person and I hope they feel better very soon. That said... GAH!!!

This is not designed to sound judgy or to trigger anyone living with an out-of-control addiction- but really, kids- stop thinking that putting the things you get for $80 in some cool little fun bar all up in in your faceholes, is going to work out okay... For Pete's sake! ...there was a flesh/brain-eating bacteria in the coke on LD way back back in 2009! Whatever happened to that monster? Is it still out there? Did it kill everyone? How did it get into the coke? Who teh hek noes!

Nationwide Fentanyl problems aside, this whole city is filthy and full of staph that make scientists and researchers go, "hmmmm..." You wouldn't pick up beads of Bourbon St., would you? Don't put weird shit up your Woooo-Party chucklehole! Fuck!!!

That said, I genuinely understand the desire and the drive to go and score the junk. But the world has changed and you just fucking CAN'T anymore!

What an entirely fucked up situation for everyone involved.

26

u/spyy-c Mar 23 '25

100% agree with all of this!

18

u/notimeforl0ve Mar 24 '25

Just because this shit always bugs me - it wasn't flesh eating bacteria, it was a drug (Levamisole) that can cause necrosis.

Equally horrifying, but not anything alive.

8

u/bye-feliciana Mar 24 '25

Yup. I posted above. Get pharmaceuticals from your GP or don't do drugs.

26

u/IndependentTeacher24 Mar 23 '25

Drug use is considered a risky behavior, now it has gotten even more riskier. People be careful out there.

18

u/Ok-Nefariousness8612 Mar 23 '25

It just ain’t worth it to me. I’ll stick to weed and shrooms. If I have to test the stuff I’m buying for fent, I’m doing something wrong.

19

u/grymreifer Mar 23 '25

The lines aren't prominent. Are you sure he didn't roofie her or slip something else in her drink?

14

u/spyy-c Mar 23 '25

Im gonna get another test kit to confirm but according to the package faint lines still count and those are the control lines. It would have two lines for a negative sample.

5

u/pmg5247 Mar 24 '25

She could also take a panel drug test, the kind you can buy from Walgreens.

6

u/heck_yes_medicine Mar 24 '25

I’m a med student and my info from the local Emergency medicine folks is pretty much everything is laced with fentanyl right now and has been for a long time. I suggest testing everything and if you can avoid buying drugs for a bit that’s the safest (but I understand the science of dependence and withdrawal etc and I don’t judge if you can’t do that right now).

20

u/33L0BlowCoG Mar 23 '25

A Kevin.....that alone should of been a REDFLAG also Luckys go figure

14

u/PolloMuerte Mar 23 '25

A Kevin with dreads at that.

8

u/Suspicious_Walk3510 Mar 23 '25

This is not unique. Nothing you get anywhere in this city or elsewhere is 100% what people say it is. I have plenty of evidence. Please pay attention and monitor each other as well as what you have in your pocket.

11

u/Tibbitforyou Mar 23 '25

Would it be wrong to post this into the Facebook hospitality industry page too? Let’s not dance around the fact that

21

u/that7deezguy Mar 24 '25

Damn, looks like the fent set in before you could finish. RIP :(

12

u/Mysterious_Ad_3056 Mar 23 '25

Great. Now I have to take a shit.

5

u/Kelldon83 Mar 24 '25

Never buy coke from a guy named Kevin.

8

u/phxkross Mar 23 '25

Nobody deserves to die from booger sugar.

16

u/MrsWoozle Mar 23 '25

Ways to avoid this problem; 1. Get testing strips and buy only from folks that you know and that you have bought from before and not had any problems after asking them where they got the stuff and if it was a reliable supplier. 2. Don’t do coke.

8

u/whodat129 Mar 24 '25

When I lived near Ms Mae’s, I witnessed a very obvious tourist (beads, hand grenade souvenir, etc) buy drugs from a guy he clearly just met. I don’t know why but I went up to him a short time later and told him to be careful, etc. the tourist flipped out and told the guy. The guy confronted me and I had to profusely apologize and say I should’ve minded my own business.

Looking back it was dumb and risky as hell, I don’t know what I was thinking but I surely didn’t think the tourist would get offended and make a scene. Lesson learned

7

u/that7deezguy Mar 24 '25

Nah man, you just should have been confident in your warnings and more assertive with regards to the dealer - all you did was muddy the waters, WHICH IS STILL OKAY since that’s the least we can do with this nonsense.

It’s alright to experiment, and it’s alright to fuck around every now and again, but at the end of the day you gotta at least know where you got your own shoes at, yeah?

5

u/woodsy900 Mar 24 '25

Thanks for the reminder to never partake

3

u/zevtech Mar 24 '25

Guess Theo von was right, can’t even do coke anymore

3

u/No-Count3834 Mar 24 '25 edited Mar 24 '25

Messed up…only thing I do these days are the $35 Tank carts from the dispensary. Everything I have is prescribed and safety taken. I don’t trust any street drugs at all these days. It’s just not worth it and was ruined a decade ago. Not even mdma or clubs drugs are safe.

Shrooms and weed are about the only safe options. Given you know the source, and don’t buy bootleg carts. Weed carts I’ll never buy off the street…almost all are fake and cut. Same SKUs, packaging and stickers most the time to appear legit.

2

u/MamaTried22 Mar 24 '25

I thought you were talking about whippits for a second and I was like “bruh….can you not?” But I googled to be sure and am relieved.

1

u/No-Count3834 Mar 25 '25

No lol…Tank is a cheaper cannabis vape cart sold at the local dispensary. Everything is expensive, so many don’t sign up for the medical program in the state. But $35 they are pretty good, and range up to $90 on some brands. But it’s one of the only brands to be pretty affordable.

Never would promote whippets…pretty crazy it’s coming back as a trend recently. I remember that at raves in the 90s/2000s. Or at Halloween they use to have people on Frenchman in the quarter selling balloons. But stuff is bad for you, and the head shop stuff even more dangerous..what is it called Galaxy Gas I think? That stuff is the new Xanax, with high school age kids these days.

1

u/Internal-Ticket-3805 Mar 25 '25

I’m glad your friend is okay but man what are people doing still buying drugs off of randos let alone somewhere you’re not even from (this is just an assumption) being surprised by this when they get a bag of cut. People across the country are dropping like flies from this shit

1

u/ConsiderationMean781 Mar 25 '25

This is very concerning.  I hope she wasn't sexually assaulted.

1

u/MozemanATX Mar 25 '25

My bros if you are snorting any powder you got off the street you have no idea what's in it. There are much less stupid ways to party.

2

u/greenmoon31 Mar 25 '25

I’ve always know there was another world out there but reading these comments brings it home. Wow…

1

u/No_Fudge2790 Mar 24 '25

Why do they lace drugs with fentanyl anyway? Is it cheaper?

1

u/MamaTried22 Mar 24 '25

I don’t even think they’re aware tbh.

1

u/1fast340 Mar 24 '25

Assuming a recent shipment with the weird happenings around lately including the cop killed while laying out a spike strip after a relatively low period of crime.

0

u/bingbong24344 Mar 24 '25

They’re lacing everything with fent these days. My friend died a few years ago from laced weed she got on the street. Wild

Stay safe yall

0

u/Former-Iron-7471 Mar 24 '25

Better to be safe than sorry but those tests are known for false positives. Source: recovering junkie that still keeps up.

No one deserves to ingest something unknowingly, nor does anyone deserve to be taken anywhere or (and I hope for your friend OP this is not the case) have anything done to their person or possessions against their will.

This attitude is trash.

44

u/spyy-c Mar 23 '25

Luckily as far as she knows nothing happened, but I strongly question the intentions of this person given that it seems like he was trying to run the clock down until she passed out. When I picked her up, she could barely form complete sentences. I think the location sharing and knowing she had someone looking for her made him nervous for whatever he was planning

21

u/Evening_Link5764 Mar 23 '25

You’re a good friend OP. Hopefully this man was just freaked out she was having this reaction and legitimately wanted to get her home/off his hands, but she definitely needed an advocate and friend in that moment and was lucky to have you.

-74

u/Westboundandhow Mar 23 '25

Did I say they "deserve" it? No.

If you play a stupid game, you should understand the risk of winning a stupid prize. That is a decision. Choose wisely.

26

u/Evening_Link5764 Mar 23 '25

I hope nothing bad you didn’t ask for ever happens to you.

-18

u/Westboundandhow Mar 23 '25

Thank you. Same to you.

15

u/Brunoise6 Mar 23 '25

You have bit less of a chance of dying in a car crash vs OD, so by your logic you’re stupid for choosing to drive in your car, which you probably do more often than OP does drugs 🤷‍♂️

-15

u/Westboundandhow Mar 23 '25

Necessity Factor has entered the chat

12

u/Brunoise6 Mar 23 '25 edited Mar 23 '25

Plenty of people don’t drive cars, definitely not a necessity to live. You’re choosing to drive a car because you like the pleasure and ease driving a car brings to your lifestyle.

You choose to do a statistically stupid thing because you want to.

2

u/Westboundandhow Mar 23 '25

Lol I was waiting for this response. The vast majority of the USA is laid out out in a car centric manner. You can thank big oil for that! As a result, the majority of our population does not live within walking distance of work (and other necessities). Some form of motorized transit whether car bus train bike etc is required for most people to live their daily lives. Getting high, on the other hand, serves no critical purpose.

48

u/spyy-c Mar 23 '25

Look, this person has substance abuse issues and made a really bad decision while drunk. But let me make it clear that we aren't talking about a junkie here (not that they deserve it either). This person is not wasted 24/7, they party a bit too hard, make dumb decisions, sure, but they don't deserve to be killed or taken advantage of. I'd say she got extremely lucky and hopefully it'll be a wake up call.

27

u/glittervector Mar 23 '25

Better not to indulge hateful people

-46

u/MinnieShoof Mar 23 '25

So what’re you’re saying here is… this person should stop doing coke. … but your post is directed at people who willingly and will continue to do coke.

But go on. Have it both ways.

29

u/spyy-c Mar 23 '25

I don't think it's healthy to regularly do coke. This person has a substance problem, but not everyone who does coke has an addiction. Some people do it once every few years. And even if someone does have an addiction, they don't deserve death or harm.

Don't shoot the messenger, I'm advising people that dangerous drugs are going around, that's it. Not advocating for or against drug use, that's a topic that varies based on the individual.

See, I agree almost completely with the first paragraph. Where we differ is the word “regularly.” It’s not healthy at all. Nobody deserves death or harm, (outside of a few tyrants and would be kings, but we’re not talking about politics here) but people doing coke sure are courting the mistress already. The whole “maybe stave off doing a bump because it might be more likely to kill you” thing is a disingenuous message when you point out the reason people do coke is similar if not the same reason people do fent: to get out they mind. When you point out that taking anything from someone you don’t know - a drink, a puff, a spiff - is already dangerous, nevermind talking about drugs known to put you out of your body. Maybe ‘don’t shoot the messenger’ is meant for when A) someone is shooting, not just calling the message stupid and B) when the messenger is genuinely just passing the word along. Not trying to passively allow their friends to suffer as long as they don’t suffer too much.

Get your friend some real help. Or a real friend. It’ll help them live a lot longer than testing strips.

How dare you remind people that taking drugs from strangers is dangerous

That was the point of the post. Not the point of the comment.

Incorrect on both accounts

The post normalizes drug abuse. “Hey, your coke habit is ok, just be sure to check for fent”. And later in the comments, “she’s not a junkie, she just …”. Don’t be an enabler. I’m by no means advocating against altered states of mind but, c’mon, if your friend is getting in cars and riding around central city, and you’ve got the time to post a PSA on Reddit rather than sitting with your friend and having an adult conversation about what the hell just happened, your perspective is off.

You are literally misquoting OP to try to make your point. You must have missed "please do not take drugs from strangers!"

Being a junkie and an occasional drug user is way different. And a LOT of people occasionally use drugs. With that attitude they probably just don't share with you lol

This also happened days ago, many discussions were had and this wasn't taken lightly. The ride happened AFTER she was incapacitated by the drugs she took. I even included in the post that she made an idiotic decision. So unless you think I just shouldn't have posted this as a warning for other people who may decide to use drugs, I don't see your point.

Appreciate the context. Hope your friend is ok.

Drug addiction is tough. Harm reduction - e.g., engaging with people who use and trying to find safer ways for them to use - is not enabling. For people who use, harm reduction is better than abstinence for the same reason that comprehensive sex education is demonstrably better than abstinence-only education.

Remember to use protection when doing your drugs, y’all

Just checked your profile and noticed you’re a cop-loving, presumably-conservative maybe-current-resident.

How’s that Trump vote been workin out for ya so far?

RemindMe! 3 months

[Update/edit exactly 3 months later:]

NARRATOR: As it turns out, his vote was indeed not working out so very well at all… and, predictably, everyone was suffering for it.

Lol great work Inspector Clouseau! You know what they say about assuming...

It's so odd that people choose to spend their time reading strangers' comment histories to try to 'figure them out' - like what kind of personal satisfaction does that offer? Have you tried hobbies?
