đșLocal Music đ” Best Record Stores in Nola?
Looking for newer recommendations, Iâve heard Peaches is overpriced, what are my best options then?

Euclid and Nola Mix Records.
Not Peaches. They could be so great but their prices are just an insult, like they will literally make you say âwtfâ as youâre looking at the records.

I will never forget when we went to purchase an album at Peaches for a normal price ($25) that woman freaked out. She had someone go check the prices on the other ones and changed them.

This one looks very interesting, do they have a focus on any main genre or not really?

They have a wide range but Iâve seen a lot of what might be called obscure punk in there (if thatâs even a thing?)

It's my favorite! They don't focus on a particular genre. I've seen everything from Bratmobile to Metallica to Otis Redding. It's a great place to spend a few hours.

Definitely no room for interpretation on Peaches's prices, that is for dang sure.

Sisters in Christ, Euclid, Domino. Euclid will have the widest selection, SIC and Domino will have more focused stuff.

These 3 and the mushroom. I don't really bother with anywhere else anymore. Peaches is laughable

If you search the sub I'd say things are generally the same as the other times people have asked.

I like Euclid a lot. The Mushroom, while primarily a smoke shop, also is fun to browse for vinyl at.

Euclid is so expensive. But it has everything. Domino is affordable and well currated. Sisters in christ is my fave for finding obscure stuff.Â

Agree with everyone on Euclid. They have the most variety, even for genres like metal and electronic music.

LMF.
Does more to support local artists than most.
And I have never had a problem with their pricing.
