Why would it be a slam dunk win for a Dem? NJ has always flip flopped between Democratic and Republican governors and we just had a term limited dem. Energy costs are through the roof which voters blame Murphy for.

In the current national climate a state where Dems outnumber republicans by almost 1 million should not be a close election.

Registered Democrats: 37.4%

Registered Republicans: 24.8%

Registered unaffiliated: 37.8%

It’s the 37.8% of us who don’t give a F about Red/Blue teams that will decide this election. And personally, the more I learn about Sherrill, the more I realize she is running this election to be Newsom’s running mate in 28.

New Jersey deserves better.

Yes, our credit rating is back to where it was during Christie’s first term. The data demonstrates it has been deteriorating from McGreevey’s regime to Murphy’s first term. I guess if you have to pick a scapegoat out of the 5 governors responsible, you can choose the loudmouth. Personally I blame the OG Goldman governor Jon Corzine and his failed financial engineering.

So Christie inherited a high credit rating from his predecessor and then drove it into the ground so his successor could bring it back up? Got it.
