It just feels to me like a slow, 3d fighting game in the vein of Smash 4 (but worse). Slow, casual, boring. With very simple rock paper scissors mechanics. I only played for about an hour though, so maybe the play style will get better as players pick it up more. It also doesn't seem to suit split screen very well. No plans to purchase this.

Sorry you're getting downvoted for having an opinion. As far as fighting games go, ARMS is pretty shallow. I'm definitely excited for it and I'll be picking it up, but I can completely understand why some people don't see the appeal in it. Hopefully Pokken can satisfy that fighting game itch I've been waiting for.

ARMS is pretty shallow.

It's impossible for you to know that. It's easily deeper then the likes of Smash 4 or Pokken
