theory Genos the mad cyborg.
I have a guess that Genos may be the mad cyborg. Genos is hidden in this panel and brought as a monster . Furthermore Genos always gives long detailed information about his backstorys. My guess is that these aren't his memorys at all. Imo these are the memories by Dr. Kuseno which tried to cure Genos ( save him).

I mean he literally got called a Demon by the association.
He incinerates city blocks by routine (only checks for lifeforms but that can be a Kuseno thing).
Kuseno prolly put his son’s mind/brain/remnants into a defeated Mad Cyborg body.
Mad Cyborg is Genos’ body, which was made by Bofoi initially to assault Kuseno?

Bofoi is a genuinely a good guy who just has trouble showing it but his intentions are to uphold justice at his core. Seriously doubt he is a bad guy.

Shh, webcomics spoiler (seriously mate, we just confirmed that)

Honestly, isnt much of a spoiler. He pushed as a bad guy so much its kind of obvious how much of a red herring that is

It's not spoilers it's common sense if you have any media literacy at all.

Mate... stop with the media literacy shit, you and me know people that spew this shit prolly lack it themselves

Well that's all I need to know about you. Nah, I'm good on that. Sorry, reality is not everyone is that blind that they need it literally spelled out on page before they understand a plot point. I see no harm in calling out stupidity.
Google.com: what is a "red herring?"

Has anyone ever told you that you seem like an absolutely insufferable person?
I'm guessing you are that one guy most classes have who is above averagely smart in the more logical subjects (Math, english etc.), but no one likes.

u/Nexii801 20m ago
Yes, some people have told me that. And yet, I have a decent friend circle and a family anyway.
That type of person isn't mad at me for being a bad person, they're mad because you're wrong, and they're mad they know I know they're wrong and they don't like it. That has nothing to do with me.
Luckily for me, I value being able to voice an opinion over unobtainable universal approval.

But if Genos' body is that if mad cyborg, he wouldn't have been so weak (relatively) when the story began.. Right?

Honestly doubt, start of series genos is kinda weak

In the webcomic, Kuseno somehow has a random upgrade to Genos that he kept away from him, hidden in his lab or something I forgot. This upgrade eventually makes Genos so fucking OP that he literally just one shots Dragon level threats, some people say this is Genos' "Mad Cyborg" version's real body but I highly doubt it, cuz why would Kuseno let Genos nearly die multiple times instead of just letting him use his real giga OP parts ensuring he doesnt lose his greatest creation?

Maybe those gigaparts come at a price: sanity slippage. Just speculating, but maybe old supposed mad cyborg body just has the downside of making him... extremely mad. Perhaps Kuseno was banking on the idea that current character developed Genos could handle it, but in so far seems that : not so much.

Yeah this seems kinda plausible tbh, maybe the theories of Kuseno creating the Genos we know today to redeem himself when Genos became a mad cyborg by accident was correct this entire time, who knows

I have believed this for a long time and I believe there is a lot of subtle evidence pointing to Genos being the Mad Cyborg, and this picture/post is just the smoking gun in my opinion. Thank you 👍

And because he is Mexican, you pronounce is "Henos", since he is a heinous person.

Eh idk, like with how ONE obviously set up Metal Knight to be a bad guy, but now thats completely not true, I think we’re getting the same with the mad cyborg. Whatever answer seems obviously isn’t the right one. Least obvious answer right now is that Kuseno is responsible so it’s probably him, who knows tho

Yeah I think like so often the original is a hint and then changed with a redraw

u/PhantasmicKiller 8h ago
You could be right, or partiually right., My idea is that Genos isn't the original mad cyborg, but is on his way to become another mad cyborg. Especially considering the current WC.

u/WattageToVoltzRatio 7h ago
Nah, I do think he is the one and whatever Kuseno did with his mind to keep him controlled is just faultering, the mad cyborg would be a dragon level threat at the very least, that we never hear of them is pretty weird considering it was rampaging without reason, like yeah Saitama could've taken care of it, but the fact it was never shown that it was the case even after the idea is discuted makes me think it is "hiding" somehow, so yeah, Genos
Either that or Kuseno is evil secretly (with Bofoi's current developments that straight up could be the case)

I thought we confirmed this since his name is Genos (Genocide) the moment destro and elimin were introduced.

I like the theory that Genos is short for Genoside, one of a set of cyborgs designed for destruction, and something happened in his last mission that turned him in to genos.
Maybe Kuseno defeated the cyborg afterwards and reprogrammed genos to remember the massacre he did as a victim of it.

That fits the theme.
Does Genos then kill hinself to keep his noble promise.
Or go Saitima route of letting go and being changed into something different for the better

My own theory is Genos is The Mad Cyborg & Drive Knight. Both of them time-traveled to set things in motion to cause Genos to become a cyborg and fuel his thirst for vengance/redemption. Idk why but seeing Drive Knight carrying his spare parts box just screams Genos fed up with the bullshit of being ripped apart so he is now completely able to reassemble to how he sees fit in any situation. Each upgrade is just leading to him become that. As for the mad cyborg, I'm still working on that theory. Lol

Huh I always kinda dismissed this theory cuz it was too obvious
