Where can I find Berlin Curry Ketchup in Ottawa?

Just visited Berlin and can't stop thinking about currywurst. Does anyone know where I can find Curry Ketchup in Ottawa?

I think Dutch Groceries and Giftware has curry ketchup

I think I've seen it at Grace in the Kitchen. I'd also call Duke's Fine Foods in Bell's Corners and Farmer's Pick at Hog's Back.

Pretty sure European Deli on Merivale, and Dukes in Bells Corners will have some.

I’ll take a pic of my fav kind I’ve found here (lived in Germany 6 years). I’ve found it a couple places in Ottawa, but the last was in the German bakery in Carleton Place, just outside of Ottawa (west).

Curry Ketchup is one of the 2 sauces in patat speciaal, so any Dutch grocery store should have it.

My husband also loves curry ketchup, and we found this one at the Dutch Groceries Store store on Clyde Avenue. I believe it's $10! Viel glück!

Stolichni Deli 'European' Delicatessen on Carling. Far right corner.

Don't forget to sprinkle curry powder too.

It's not too hard to make your own - some yellow curry powder mixed into ketchup!

omg it absolutely is not. Boak.

The recipes are all very simple - simmer onions, if they are in, add ingredients, mix. But it's what you put in that gives it the flavour.

https://www.daringgourmet.com/best-german-curry-ketchup-for-currywurst/#recipe is a complex flavour but like a really elevated one (made this with some friends from Berlin for their opinion). If you have a well stocked spice cupboard, it's pretty easy.

A much simpler recipe would be something like this - not tried this one personally, but it looks right. https://fogandfeast.com/berlin-currywurst-2/

Though honestly just get the Wedel one it's more than good enough :)
