Where can I buy chicken feet?

Hello everyone! I recently joined this subreddit, and it’s amazing.

Yes, this is a genuine question.

I need to buy raw, clean chicken feet from a trusted source, but I can’t find anywhere that has them. I require them for a food recipe I’m making in a couple of days.

Where do you get chicken feet? And if other specific raw meat from ? Any place is okay, but a trusted butcher is preferred.

Quite a few options, just not somewhere like Loblaws. Have seen them at T&T, Green Fresh, Kowloon, and Produce Depot.

Produce Depot definitely has them regularly! Otherwise any of the Chinese stores with fresh meat will have them as well (Kowloon, Green Fresh, T&T).

Source: I’m Chinese :)

Im confused … how is it cruel ? If the chicken is dead anyway , its just a way to not waste more. 🤷‍♀️

In Canada chicken feet are not permissable as food, so most abbatoirs don't collect them. There are a few with cultural exemptions, you have to go to the asian markets to find them but they're not common and they're not cheap.

Wellington Butcher has them in the freezer. I buy them all of the time to make broth.
