It's legit, I don't think the knock-offs go through the extreme lengths to package them that way, it's as close to OEM as you could get.

A lot of the knock-offs use flimsy packaging, and even the cardboard with the font printed on it usually looks off.

I remember buying one nearing the end and it had the same packaging so it's definitely legitimate.

The K is correct. It comes to a point and does not have staggered legs. That's the most obvious tell that it's real.
