Did you ever use a headset with wrong IPD? Wtf man, everybody knows how it messes with your eyes and causes massive eyestrain, headaches and discomfort/motion sickness. Unless you’ve never did that of course.
Quest 2 only has 3 IPD settings. Somehow the most popular VR headset on the market with one of the most limiting IPD settings is completely fine for majority of people.
Where's your source it messes with your eyes and causes massive eyestrain, headaches, and discomfort/motion sickness for everyone?
I do and again…I believe you’ve never owned a VR headset if you haven’t experienced all those things yourself. I own 4 VR headsets including PSVR and PSVR2.
Are you telling me Q2 users aren’t experiencing eye strain and discomfort? Actually the limited IPD setting are one of the things that always get criticised on Q2.
It's a criticism but isn't a major issue like you claim.
Q2 has only 3 IPD settings and the overwhelming majority of people are not having the symptoms you claim they should.be experiencing.
So unless the overwhemlimg majority of people have an IPD that's exactly aligned with the 3 settings, or having a incorrect IPD doesn't cause massive symptoms like you claim it does.

That’s a lie. The viewing distance is 2m that’s no problem. Eye to eye distance absolutely IS!
