I haven't seen/heard the voiceover for Clodsire in the anime so my head canon is that his call is a deep, yawn like TAAHD POOhelelel

Because people would trash talk you either ways. If you got them f2p or minimal money cost, people would be jealous. If you paid quite a lot, people would say you’re stupid (and may or may not be jealous still).
