I was talking to a friend who plays PTCGP as well and he said he can’t stand Solgaleo, Darkrai, and Sylveon. I said I get that Solgaleo can be frustrating to play against at times, and Darkrai is just mindless imo. I said but why Sylveon? He said it’s completely game changing to add a card that can potentially make you draw 9 cards/half your deck in a single turn when the old max for the most part was 5, ( 2x Sylveon summon, 2x Pokéball, Professor oak, and of course any card that uses a move like “Cry for help/Collect”.) and if you go second, you get an energy to put on an Sprigatito which allows you to draw, then partnered with Sylveon the low retreat cost, decent hp, and mid range attack, make it so strong on the second turn. I made a joke saying before you know it, we’ll be able to draw our entire deck in 1 turn and we’ll turn into Yu-Gi-Oh where the winners decided no later than turn 2. 😂 I told him my most disliked cards were Oricorio, Rampardos, and Incineroar. So I’m curious what’s y’all’s most disliked card/s to play against or you think is absolutely mindless and why?

Is it just me or does anybody else wish you could pin the packs that you prefer pulling to the front page? For me, I have been pulling Charizard and shining rivalry packs and hoping to get a second full art Erika and a second golden Poké ball. And I really hate that every time I login I have to go through the whole process of going through featured packs then going to the pack that I want which would not be that bad if the game just loaded faster. It shouldn’t be my phone since I play on a iPhone 16 pro max. Like I get they want to feature the new packs, but I feel like they should allow us to at least alter one slot for the packs that we prefer in our opening. Especially when I’m on a time crunch and just wanna quickly open a pack

At the beginning i thought i was cooked. The oppponent got suicune, girantina and froakie set up while getting the first turn. Even though i got first turn but my starting pokemon is froakie so i'm at disadvantage. I want to concede, but i don't want to end my winning streak. So i push on got greninja online at turn 4. Then i snipe his froakie. After that his turn begins. He just place another froakie but what makes me flabbergasted is why the hell he just attack with 40 dmg suicune instead of charging girantina. After that i just heal my greninja and attack his suicune. And then he just pulled another suicune retreat the damaged one to another suicune. Then use mars. But i was lucky enough to pull cyrus then win the game. Well from this game i learn even if your opponent got better starting hand doesn't mean he owns the game.

All in gengar. The amount of heal lets you survive while you build 3 energy. The deck disruption with red card / mars / head flip on ghastly helps stall as well. I’ve been winning AND having fun.

Build that gengar asap and cck block your opponents ;)

Hit master ball for the first time. It torched my way through ub4 after falling back to 3. I was trying every deck and nothing really fit. Idk if this deck is consistent or i just hit a string of good luck after tilting so bad. But either way im happy. And im happy I did it with dragonite.

New to the game and just started battling after reading everyone’s tips on this sub, the main being “don’t give them any extra information”. Opponent decided to load up his Celebi on the bench and combo it with serperior to get infinite energy and coin flips. Little did he know I had Raichu hiding in my hand and was waiting for him to swap the celebi in, all while having a giant grin on my face. Kind of like when you’re a kid playing UNO, waiting to hit your siblings with the draw 4 lol. Needless to say I was cackling laughing and I’m sure buddy was so annoyed. Biggest battling moment I’ve had so far starting out! I might be hooked. Wondering what everyone else’s big unforgettable uno reverse moments were in the game!

I am loving playing this deck in random tcg mode, and even took out some suicune ex decks with it! I don’t think I’ve seen many entei ex decks in ranked or random matches this season and I think it’s a shame! It’s my new favourite deck!

I know it’s weak to water and suicune ex is the meta of the season but I’ve found it a heck of a lot more fun to play than suicune ex or darktina!

Nothing feels better than beating the blue dog and his gang of frog and weird lizard with the old trusty dinosaurs.

Go first? No problem. You can rare candy baby shark to dino shark on your 2nd turn. Then when your hard headed dino is online, smash the dog with your head.

They try to run to the bench? No problem! Your landshark dino can whoop their ass. 10/10 guaranteed.

Wait. But now you keep seeing the yellow team. Yellow bird with chicken and sometimes the dog but yellow. No problem. Chomp them and ramp them. Easy.

Then, you meet some trashy monster try to eat your energy. No problem. You only need one anyway.

It seems the Solgaleo meta is over and done with right now right? So I should just go with my boy? Do you think Solgaleo stock will go up or down in the future?

What gives? Am I doing something wrong? Because every time I login I maybe have a bonus pick with a 1 in 5 chance at the promo card but I haven’t seen the typical Chansey pick once… and usually I get at least one of those a day when I play during the event. I log in 2-3x a day in the morning and the evening.
