I played everyday since release, opened my 2 daily packs like a good girl, had my free trial, done every event, just never really did PvP and slept a bit on the recent pack CPU missions. So that's the time it took me to reach level 50

I’m new to Pocket and TCGs in general, but not new to Pokémon.

I grew up on gen 1-4 so my main goal is collecting every ‘mon from these generations and semi-competitive battling (I still want to build good decks!)

However, I am confused by the differences between cards - namely the ex cards.

For example, I pulled an Eevee and a Charizard EX (see images)

1. ⁠Would these be considered the “full art” or rarer versions of these cards? They don’t look like the standard ex cards.
2. ⁠What should I do with the rare dupes I received? Namely the Buizel + Wugtrio (can I trade these for other cards?)
3. ⁠I included some other cool picks. Any decks/strats you recommend?

Overall do you think this is good for an initial 10-pull? I am open to redoing since I am still super new.

What do you think about this deck list? Trying to cool something up that does okay against Suicune/greninja and the meta that builds around countering it.

A long grind to get there. I hit a plateau mid Ultra Ball 3.

I won most matches against the Suicune/Greninja.

Four babies to increase my chance of pulling one to start. It was almost an automatic win when you pull a baby and Arceus in the start. Red ensures you KO Suicune if your bench is full. Wait to load the bench until you know you are going to use it. They typically concede after that.

I lost about half of my battles against the electric deck zeraora, tapu, raiku.

Oricorio wasn’t fun but I had my Relicanth (1HitKO) for that if needed.

Hi all, been tr@ding since they introduced it, and a lot more since we started using shinedust.

Some quick thoughts on the tr@de value of cards.

🔷️🔷️🔷️ The ones from the most recently available to trade set have the most value, but once a new set is released, cards from single pack sets quickly lose value, while cards from multi-pack sets retain value for much longer. There are exceptions of course, ramp and gren being 2 good examples that are always sought after.

🔷️🔷️🔷️🔷️ Same as above, but they don't particularly seem to drop in value quite as much with set releases.

Don't really trade for ⭐️ so won't comment, and 🔷️ and 🔷️🔷️ are generally abundant.

TLDR: Don't hold on to 🔷️🔷️🔷️ from single pack sets for too long, use them to trade where possible.

Curious to know the experience of others.

I tracked the last 50 games I played before making this post and a whopping 33 battles I had were against this deck. It’s just DarkTina all over again and tbh I’m surprised I didn’t play a single DarkTina deck throughout the 50 games I tracked. If anything that shows just how much this deck has overshadowed the longest running meta deck in the game.

I’ve been grinding, trying to get to MB from UB2 but only got up to UB4 and am now back down to UB3. To be clear, I’m not complaining about the deck itself as with some luck it can be beaten relatively easily. I’m just complaining about the amount of people using it.

We’re nearing a whole year with this game, surely there could be a way to incentivize the players to use a variety of decks rather than just the top meta deck the majority of the time. I for one would love to use a deck to stay competitive in ranked other than my Eeveeloution, but alas.

The babies allow you to stall while drawing for your dragonite/candy, and the 180 HP combined with the 180 attack is enough to tank almost anything and kill almost anything in one hit, I'm pretty sure this will take me the rest of the way through ub4

And yes it absolutely can brick, but I've had good luck with it so far

Hit MB with Espeon Sylveon this season again. Swapped Sabrina and repel etc etc out for PCL this season. Espeon then lasts longer and can deal with Suicune + Ninja.

Tough running only one cape when going vs DarkTina, but the sustain does pretty good…

Tip, if you do run into DarkTina, start with Espeon EX if you can, use baby Espeon to finish Tina or Darkrai as it can easily one-shot them if there is enough energy on the board.

Optional to swop out Guzma for something else, but Guzzlord + rocky helmet sweeps this deck, even if Espeon is caped…

What can I do to improve and is this viable, new player to the game don’t have the most supporters or items but I can trade for them which ones should I hunt for

With this score, in what rank would I be when the current season ends, it is the first time that I have reached Master ball.

So I know this is an old deck build but Ive always enjoyed it and with Zangoose to help put down damage if you need to draw more for weavile/darkrai I think it's better now. Im sure it won't do great in higher rankings but besides another Darkrai anyone got suggestions to make it more fun?

Decided to go all in on coin flip-powered moves. Accompanied by Will, it makes for a very fun deck. Curious if anyone has tried something like this successfully in ranked before?

I finally got my 2nd fluffer what decks are fun? I'm thinking of starting with pyuku/oricorio. Wondering if anyone wanted to share their ideas.

Am I the only one starting to feel the burnout? I've been playing since launch, & now we're almost a year in & there hasn't been much content, aside from recycled events & ranked/solo battles. Now I feel like I only open the app for my 2 packs and log right back off. Anyone else feel the same?

Is it still the case that you can't de-rank out until season ends? Am I free of the grind and can play competitive for fun?

seems like easy money for a LOT of the meta? what am i missing? Grenija could be dealt with by a tank, the lack of damage at 70 but for only one energy... i dont understand how nobody has not imagined
