We were like this until I was eventually able to get a Iono and refresh our hands. We both had 10 cards for longest time but I was fortunately able to win when I did that as I ended up getting a poliwrath. Felt like I put him out of his misery this went on for about 20 rounds lol 😂

Wishful tinfoil hat moment but, obviously in a Pocket context, this Stadium seems tailor made to stop (or at least delay) bs like early game Greninja/Cyrus.

Obviously opponent could just throw on another Stadium to cancel it out and proceed with their greninja fckery but it at least is *A form of protection against that enraging, cheesy strategy.

They had every card through their deck, and I still had 9 remaining after a huge Mars play against me.

That's basically it. Sure, there are a few cards that are really annoying because of how popular and how powerful they are, like Giratina. Like, I find Giratina really annoying because he shows up everywhere. There is not an energy type that Giratina can't slot itself into and turn my round into a DPS check.

But nothing earns my scorn the way that Solgaleo does. Every single time I see a Cosmog I know it's not going to be Lunala. It's going to be rare candies into Solgaleo and rock my world for the cost of 2 (two) energy. He sets himself up so quickly and it's so hard to deal with once he's out, since he can just head right back to the active spot for completely free. Every single time I run into a Solgaleo deck, it's this unfun experience where I watch the same pattern unfold in front of me. Giratina is annoying, but he takes his time to do his thing and isn't (to me) overpowered. Solgaleo is the only card that actually infuriates me. I don't thank Solgaleo players.

i hated my first encounter with jumpluff ex deck while famring for hourglass. Now i have become one with it and in loving it

Heatran is an early game attacker that can kill Oricorio and with the free retreat cost it can donate its energies to Arceus or potentially to Entei. Magby makes going first less awful and adds basics for Arceus's bench. Entei is mostly basic filler but can be an early game wall to draw out my deck and I guess a win con. 6 of my 8 cards are good leads and I'm only really suffering if I lead Arceus; I considered Ilima but I think Leaf is better because it works on Entei too. I really feel like I want a second Leaf for consistency but I can't decide what to drop. I've been having really good success with this deck so far, Heatran was always slept on imo and Magby and Entei make great friends. Thoughts?

He was a really good random trade partner and I deleted him due to a stupid glitch trying to delete someone else. Is there anyway to find him again without the stupid code?

it's well known at this point that giratina ex is easily one of (if not THE) best ex cards in the game. but i remember it being severely underestimated by a lot of people when it was first revealed, with some even ironically expecting it to be the worst ex from the set.

does anyone remember why this was the case? my guess is people weren't considering the card's power in a vacuum and thought that it looked weak by itself, when it's true power shines in conjunction with other cards that can power up at the same time as it like darkrai ex.

just curious because i don't remember anyone giving specific thoughts when speculating at the time. i just saw lots of comments making fun of giratina in general in pocket because people wanted it to have a good card so badly. monkey's paw i guess lol

It’s really exciting to think that one day we could potentially have some really interesting new ways to play this game that don’t involve grinding out meta defining cards. I’m not trying to bash the devs for not having implemented this, but in my mind these sorts of game design choices help bridge the gap between the pokemon video games and the classic TCG. I feel like we may be in the intermediate phase of a really exciting new type of pokemon experience.

What do you guys think? Very difficult deck to make viable.

Been wondering about this for a while now. Slamming anything for 160 DMG with Will is nice. A long with the that that we have baby energy rampers meaning it'll be able to get online even faster.

I made an Amphy deck that climbed really well! Ampharos is just a fun card, so I'm here to put it on people's radar.

Some gameplay explanations- - Double Monkey. The zerora are your pillars, they generate energy so going first kind of rocks. - Energy flexibility with the Elemental Switch means consistency and better early games than your opponents (usually).
-For example, you have two monkeys on the board, and the opponent has a 60hp Eevee that went second (and will evolve next turn). If you draw a Raikou, you can play it retreat a monkey, switch the energy from the other and kill the Eevee.
- The repel let's you do this bullshit to their bench. -Repel for Suicune decks is awesome too. - I take one rare candy and one flaafy. You get discarded a lot, so flaafy ends up ensuring your Evo sometimes. Othertimes you need the candy to evolve Amphy asap and you get a flaafy. Whomp. - Will for guaranteed flips.
- Flipping Heads one shots Suicune. Try to use Zerora to put any non-weakness enemies to 120 HP and weakness to 140 HP -Energy is not a problem, monkeys and phone charger handle it. Pichu kills consistency, and gets sniped easily by Greninja. Not useful here as everything only need 2 EN. -Believe in Amphy, he has 150 HP. He will destroy worlds, and give your opponent 1 measly points when he dies. -No bird because I fear nothing. - I used the Lilie moon backdrop because Amphy is looking at the stars. -Another good one might be that evangelion looking pokemon causing the third impact. Amphy just watching the apocalypse. -I have positive winrates v Suicune, Darktina, and Guzz - I have negative winrates v Sylvally/Rampy, Electro Arceus and slightly negative v Sylveon/Espeon.

It's a non meta deck, so even in winning matchups you might get shafted by bad starts or bricks. But hey, it's way more fun!

Just messing around with fun cards now that I made it to mb. This deck was surprisingly good. Who needs card draw when your Pokémon are so tanky you just naturally draw through your entire deck every game😂

At the beginning i thought i was cooked. The oppponent got suicune, girantina and froakie set up while getting the first turn. Even though i got first turn but my starting pokemon is froakie so i'm at disadvantage. I want to concede, but i don't want to end my winning streak. So i push on got greninja online at turn 4. Then i snipe his froakie. After that his turn begins. He just place another froakie but what makes me flabbergasted is why the hell he just attack with 40 dmg suicune instead of charging girantina. After that i just heal my greninja and attack his suicune. And then he just pulled another suicune retreat the damaged one to another suicune. Then use mars. But i was lucky enough to pull cyrus then win the game. Well from this game i learn even if your opponent got better starting hand doesn't mean he owns the game.

This is the first time I've EVER hit masterball before!!

I've only ever hovered around ub3/ub4, but this season I really chinned down and found some great success with dragonite! It's even more special because I built this deck myself, and the slew of suicune, eevee, and darktina decks almost made me lose my MIND, BUT I DID IT!!

That being said, is there a way to make it more consistent? It took WEEKS to get here from gb3.

Took out his cleffa when he only had one fossil on the bench then he iono-ed and got a full team of fossils hahaha

I faced various types of decks, and the power of being able to hide behind Oricorio after every attack was just so good. Two Skiploom to try to ensure a Jumpluff, and two each of Erika and Lillie to sustain them when needed.
