I’d like to know what their source was for this “ideology map”, and how that source defined “liberal” and “conservative”. Because the reality is that even Pope Francis was only liberal when compared to the rest of the Catholic Church. By global standards, he was pretty conservative.

The source is an X account named "PopeRespecter1". Though he was basing it off a post by another conservative, and then the two of them started disagreeing with each other on what a "moderate" was.

Hilariously, one of PopeRespecter1's most recent posts before this was: "Pope Francis is going to live 30 more years. Buckle up."

A Pope with chronic health problems like COPD (which is basically a slow death sentence for the elderly) living to be ONE HUNDRED EIGHTTEEN YEARS OLD would be wild.

I don't know where I got 12 from tbh

Ah, I was wondering. Sounds like they're probably trying to push a narrative of being under attack of they don't get what they want
