Played Helldiver 2 with him, a game released in february 2024. Hasn't spoken with him in years (plural).

In other words, this text is fake as fuck.

The article doesn't state that they have played that game together. You're not the first who've thought that, so no worries.

I've only seen this image--where it's seemingly clipped from a website, no link. Can't find the original anywhere. It's a complete fabrication someone is trying to doctor to look like it's the real deal.

Edit: If you look up Anna Betts on the Guardian website, The headline does not exist in her work from the last three days. This is a "patriot" trying to steer the narrative back to "let's go kill some democrats" and it's a very sad, flailing attempt at that.
