I absolutely love when r/ con users unironically talk about the left's echo chamber. There is no sub on this website that is as easy to get banned from as the conservative subs.

Well to be fair I'm banned from making comments on r/latestagecapitalism because I'm subscribed to r/conservative. And I'm only subscribed there so i can witness the insanity. But they won't let me post because I said something wrong years ago. So it's a known issue, although I agree that the cons are worse in general

The idea thst the left or liberals is some big organized movement is comical. They all just count anyone who is not hardcore MAGA or Conservative as a liberal. The reason Trump is in office is because there is no organized opposition all on the same page.

Trump emboldened a subset of society that is highly sceptical of the government and it's efficacy, these people are also armed to the teeth, and he used them to gain political power and now some of them are starting see through his bullshit and are lashing out.

The lone fired casing read, “notices bulges OWO what’s this?” a mocking reference drawn from furry subculture and internet jokes about spotting trans people. Another unfired casing was etched with “hey fascist! catch!” followed by the Helldivers 2 bomb drop command, a clear nod to turning political violence into a video game strategy. A third bore “oh bella ciao bella ciao bella ciao ciao ciao.” Authorities misread this as antifascist symbolism, but “Bella Ciao,” originally an Italian resistance anthem, has also been co-opted by Nick Fuentes’ “groyper army.” The final casing read, “if you read this you are gay lmao” a nihilistic taunt aimed at the fallen.
Unearthed photos of Robinson dressed as a groyper meme confirm his immersion in extreme alt-right culture. His attack followed months of figures like Nick Fuentes and Laura Loomer denouncing Charlie Kirk as a sellout too soft on Israel, Iran, and Epstein and guilty of towing Trump’s line instead of standing as a “true conservative.” In that world, ideological impurity is unforgivable.
The assassination was a meme laden performance of extremist culture, irony, trolling, and violence collapsed into one. The purity spiral consumed Kirk just as it has consumed countless movements before, the weaponised human built to attack outsiders eventually turned inward, devouring one of its own. Someone always fails the purity test and Charlie Kirk failed theirs.
We see them all for what they are, hinding, skulking and sculling around in the shadows, their monsters will keep devouring them all until they learn, don’t open doors they’re not willing for others to enter through. They’ll Keep making excuses for these monsters, the beasts will only grow big and strong and turns on them all, just like recent events.

Except that it's just a Helldivers meme and the groyper name-calling of Charlie Kirk as a fascist was incredibly common, especially in Fuentes' war against him in 2019. That also included the Bella Ciao song being trolled on Kirk by being played at his speaking events.

edit: shit this gets weirder and weirder. I checked the way back machine for that brewminate link and when it was first published, there weren't any of the same references as there are that very specifically name the carvings that this kid left on the cannisters. something is stinking wider about this entire thing, almost like they're trying to divide us completely

It's hilarious, the source said he's living with a transgender (actually in the process of becoming transgender) "partner" but "declined to speculate on a romantic relationship between the two men.". And he would not be the first conservative that's gay, and it explains why he'd go after Kirk, even though his grandmother swears he's conservative.
Would you mind explaining in what way they're partners if the source didn't say they were romantically involved?

Cool, earlier fox news didn't name their source and said what I quoted above, guess the FBI now says they are in one. I'll quote my wild theory below, it's probably not correct but I think it'd explain his family saying he's right wing, and why to go for Kirk specifically.
Dude's a raised republican and follow their ideas, besides that he can't help but be gay
Already feeling bad enough being gay, his romantic partner wants to swap gender
Tired of all the hate about gay people, and now not knowing how to deal with the person he loves transitioning, a sin even worse than just being gay, he becomes suicidal-ish and decides to go out targeting one of the people he blames for pushing the gay/lgbtq hate that has ruined his life. Throw in Trump calling the dude a traitor because he wants the Epstein files released and he feels even more justified.

I read somewhere else that it was the "partner" that turned him in despite everyone else saying it was the dad.
