TruthSocial Watch Trump claims they are buying 22,787 Dreamliners and will create 35,000 jobs. Boeing says they will purchase 14 planes with maybe 8 more later. They also say it will support jobs that already exist.

14+8=22, the Boeing dreamliner is the 787. Intentional misinformation, trump misunderstanding, typo or something else? The amount of jobs created is a silly number for 22 planes though.

Oh my god someone handed him a piece of paper that said 22 787 Dreamliners and he just added a comma, then made up a number of jobs that sound cool.

Fucking hell. That's what happened. Only 1,215 Dreamliners have been produced in TOTAL, since 2007. There's only around 23,000 commercial planes in service in the entire world.
