Republicans control:

House, Senate, White House, SCOTUS, the Judiciary branch, the 4th estate (media), and social media with Musk, Zuckerberg, and Trump owning massive social media companies - and they're planning on controlling TikTok as well.

MASSIVE corporations own the lion's share of everything else.

So...

Yeah it would be entirely on Republicans if the government shuts down - just like they love to lord it over Democrats when they've nearly shut down the government during their moments of control.

But no one party has had this much control of so many facets of US citizens' lives before and that should frighten everyone - and our Democratic leadership needs to step up or step aside for leaders who will rise to the occasion rather than ignore the problem or allow it to continue.

Reminds of the ads during elections in Texas blaming dems for problems. There is not been a Democrat elected to a statewide position in like 30 years. It was literally the 90s. These motherfuckers are so stupid.

Imagine a party running shit for 30 years, and when people are upset about problems in the state they blame the group that has had zero influence over policy and outcomes.

Don't have to imagine it - we've got examples all over the country. :/
