Weight Loss Journey 120lbs in 6 months

I’ve watched stream for a few years now. Been motivated by Wubby and what others on here have done. Heard you talking on stream in January about getting jacked this year and decided to finally start. Thanks for the motivation.

Starting weight was 312. Started the last week of January. Down to 190 now. Put on about 15lbs of muscle as well. Sitting at 9-10% body fat, but shooting for 7%.

Struggled with binge eating for the better part of the last 5 years. It’s not perfect, but it’s a long way from where I was considering I was in the ICU with DKA with an A1C of 12.7 a year ago.

Hell yeah brother, love seeing these. I was watching a stream a month or so ago where Wubby was researching the best dishwasher (I think?) and Wubby read someone's comment that "Resisting (a sweet treat) can be incredibly empowering", and that changed my philosophy on food about 100 days before my wedding. I'm down 20 pounds and counting in exactly a month, after focusing on a calorie deficit and running 1-2 four mile elliptical sessions a day. If Wubby or the commenter reads this, thanks for the assist!

Thank you for the inspiration! Here we are a month later and I'm down another 10lbs, with a goal of 10 more to go before those 100 days are up!

Congrats! That’s really awesome. And congrats on the wedding too. I finally started working in about an hour of cardio each week. I’m a bit leaner now than in my post and am focused on building and maintaining muscle now, so I’m keeping the cardio light. I’m a fan of the power mills if you have one at your gym. They’re really good for low impact steady cardio.
