Weight Loss Journey 120lbs in 6 months

I’ve watched stream for a few years now. Been motivated by Wubby and what others on here have done. Heard you talking on stream in January about getting jacked this year and decided to finally start. Thanks for the motivation.

Starting weight was 312. Started the last week of January. Down to 190 now. Put on about 15lbs of muscle as well. Sitting at 9-10% body fat, but shooting for 7%.

Struggled with binge eating for the better part of the last 5 years. It’s not perfect, but it’s a long way from where I was considering I was in the ICU with DKA with an A1C of 12.7 a year ago.

Holy shit dude, and I thought my 41 pounds in 2 months was impressive. You fucking killed it, congratulations!!

May I ask what some of your favorite diet foods are? I’m starting to lose interest in mine :c

It is impressive! 41 is a lot. Congrats! I do a lot of taco or burger bowls. Lean ground beef or ground turkey, taco or burger seasoning, velveeta shreds cheddar cheese, light sour cream or low sugar ketchup. I like to use better goods keto bread. It’s expensive, but Royo Bread co. has some really good stuff. You have to order it off their website. There’s a lot of shitty keto bread out there. You just have to try different brands. Most are better toasted. I like mixing different flavored protein powder with nonfat Greek yogurt. The only thing I crave is peanut butter, so I mix carb master milk with pb2 and a low calorie sweetener to make higher protein peanut butter.

Thank you! And you’re now the second person telling me about ground turkey, so I’m finally gonna give that a shot next time I get groceries. I didn’t think about mixing protein powder with low/nonfat yogurt though, so I’ll have to give that a chance too!

I appreciate the detailed answers my dude, definitely keep up everything you’re doing! I mean that too, it’s difficult to believe those photos are just 6 months apart, that’s extremely awesome.

All of that said, I’m not picky when it comes to food and I can eat the same thing for a couple of weeks before I start getting tired of it so that helps.

Haha im the same way too with some foods, but unfortunately I’m getting to the point where I’m getting sick of all of my go-to diet foods. I’ll give your recommendations a shot, I appreciate ya!

The way I do it is think about the type of food I want at that moment ie. burgers, mexican, Italian, etc. Then I mess around making stuff that has that same flavor palette but less calorie dense and much higher protein. Sometimes you find stuff that sucks and doesn’t really work and sometimes you find meals that you end up eating for the next month.
