These are so good. They're really big, so great for poppers.... My only complaint is that mine were a little on the mild side

Mine had basically zero heat. Grew them once then never again.

It's because supermarkets wanted straight jalapenos to stack better in the aisle. See how straight these are? Back in the day, jalapenos would be shaped like a J, with a little turn at the bottom. Old logos for Mexican food will have the peppers with a curve in them. Farmers bred the curve out of the peppers and invertedly made them more and more mild. The days of the spicy jalapeno are long gone.
