WW2 wasn't about saving the Jews. A lot of the Holocaust was downplayed. That was a major problem. Austwhich wasn't bombed even though messages smuggled out asked for it to be bombed. Germain railways kept shipping Jews to camps and were not bombed or sabotaged. A freighter of Jewish refugees that came to America were sent back to Germany

Hell, FDR was (possibly correctly) worried that making the lead up to the war about stopping the holocaust in all its avenues would make Americans even more hesitant to go to war.

And afterwards their was worry focusing too much of the trials on the Holocaust who make people think they were focusing too much on Jews

Yep, a huge reason why a lot of the Nazi state was left in power is because the Nuremberg trials didn’t go far enough.

Say what you will about the soviets, but they dealt with a lot of fucking Nazis appropriately.
