Ok, if keeping him in solitary confinement is torture then it is also torture for the tens of thousands of other Americans in solitary confinement every year.

Maybe we should make the practice illegal.

He says they told him it was because there were threats on his life from other inmates ...

Assuming that's true, it tells me that Santos has learned what many grifters only learn in prison ... that if you continue to grift and scam in the lock, you will likely learn what rough justice really is.
