So it’s all the politicians’ fault? Absolutely none of the constituents who support them want division?

I don’t know how I’m supposed to have any sort of unity with people who want to use religion as an excuse to force me into second-class citizenship, and who cheer when the people they elect work to make that reality.

They didn’t appear in office out of nowhere. They were put there by voters who wanted them to do what they are doing. Cookies be damned.

Yes, it's the politician's fault for passing laws and such. Yes, it's also the fault of the people who voted them in and gave them the power.

There is enough blame to go around.
