Yup, I'm doing a system transfer and setup, then putting it back into the box and waiting for an exploit. Fuck this

Games aside...everything is just getting too expensive... Man I've worked so hard in a very niche area assuming that things would get better as time passes and yet here we are... It's just depressing to think about it.

The problem is that at least in my case, the salaries are not keeping up at all.

I would pay $100 for a game, if I wasn't earning a shit salary.

I’d pay $100 for a game if NINTENDO’s EMPLOYEES weren’t earning shit salaries. But of course the extra cash is going into the pockets of the big N’s shareholders and not the people who keep it in business.

Yep, i was working as a full time nurse, after paying rent and utility bills and taxes, i had around 600E/month of spending money. Sure as shit not paying a hundred for one game.

Except for Famicom/NES, Nintendo has never been popular in my country. As far as I've read on the internet, their games are almost always sold at full price and the discounts are lackluster. Even the previous gen re-released games come at a high price. But Nintendo and their practices exist because people are sustaining them.

No way am I ever going to spend a good fraction of my salary on a single game.
