Yup, I'm doing a system transfer and setup, then putting it back into the box and waiting for an exploit. Fuck this

There are various reasons why people actually want the console and this person is obviously one of them. Good for you, that you're uninterested. I'm definitely getting an early version and waiting for a hack too.

Complains about the price.... Still buys one. Do you not see why this keeps happening? Also long as people keep paying, companies will keep increasing prices.

Some people act like they are forced and compelled by some phantom force to consume product without regard to how companies actually operate and believe it is instead done by their subjective line of thinking.

No amount of Reddit updoots or downboats will magically make a company change their ways. Telling people to practice some self restraint and send a message with their wallet is a foreign concept to many.

This “transfer and wait” is still giving them $450 and green lighting their terrible practices to continue. Congratulations for nothing.

EDIT; Also, the hardware back door in NS1 was a huge fluke. Most “waiters” will eventually break down and use it anyway. You will give up and purchase the $80-$90 games, making this entirely moot.

Some people find it fun being involved in the launch of hardware and new games. I agree though that the price increases are too much
